The Courier-Mail newspaper (from Queensland, Australia), caught up with Spider-Man 3’s Tobey Maguire, who hinted that he may not be interested in returning for a fourth Spider-Man movie: Spider-Man 3 arrives in theatres on May 4th, 2007. Filming on the third installment of the effects-heavy Spider-Man blockbuster has recently wrapped up and Maguire says while the studio is already talking about number four, he thinks he has reached the end of the road as lonely, super-powered photographer Peter Parker....

After nearly 40 years, Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise is slipping back into the cockpit of a fighter jet for legacy sequel Top Gun: Maverick. The reviews for the long, long-awaited follow-up are now in, and it sounds like Cruise and director Joseph Kosinski have created a blockbuster masterpiece, as well as reigniting the love for cinema and movie stars. We begin with Ian Freer of Empire Magazine, who awarded Top Gun: Maverick a perfect score of 5/5 and praised the legacy sequel’s approach to the franchise all these years later....

Although the intro doesn’t give us any clips to examine or plot details to infer, the opening credits set the tone for the upcoming series as pure Beverly Hills, 90210. My Entertainment World, which is a film production site used by crew members and actors to find jobs in the industry, has updated their information for The Dark Knight Rises, and this new story description indicates that Dr. Hugo Strange is, in fact, the main villain in Christopher Nolan’s trilogy ending Batman sequel. Apparently, the movie will also be shooting under the alternate titles ‘Magnus Rex’ and ‘Fox Hills Green’ to keep prying eyes away from the set....

HBO has in the works a TV series based on the hit video game The Last of Us with Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey starring in the lead roles. Directly inspired by the storyline of the original video game, the series follows Pascal as Joel, a hardened survivor and smuggler-for-hire tasked with escorting a teenage girl, Ellie (Ramsey), across a mutant and marauder-filled wasteland. Till is a 2022 biographical film about Mamie Till Mobley, a mother turned activist who fought for justice after the lynching of her 14-year-old son Emmett Till in 1955.
