Following the official Walking Dead Season 8 synopsis that was released last week, AMC aired a special look at new episodes last night, where a scene from the premiere was shown to the fans. We have a description of the scene in question, along with more details revealed by showrunner Scott M. Gimple. There will be potential SPOILERS below, so if you don’t want to know anything going into the Season 8 premiere, read on at your own risk....

The Walt Disney Studios has agreed to enter into an exclusive long-term distribution arrangement with filmmaker and DreamWorks Studios co-founder Steven Spielberg, and partner Stacey Snider, chief executive officer of DreamWorks, to distribute all upcoming live-action motion pictures produced by DreamWorks under their partnership with Reliance BIG Entertainment, part of The Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group, it was announced today by Dick Cook, chairman of The Walt Disney Studios. Under the terms of this arrangement, Disney will handle distribution and marketing for approximately six DreamWorks films each year....

In researching different elements of Silent Hill, screenwriter Roger Avary came across a town called Centralia which is in Pennsylvania. Centralia planted the seed for what developed into the town of Silent Hill. As recently as 1981 there were over 1,000 residents living in Centralia, although the population has now dwindled to 11, as a result of a 40 year mine fire burning beneath the borough.
