The makers of The Crown have reached a lucrative deal with FX network for a 16-part drama series based on the rags-to-riches story of legendary rock and rollers the Rolling Stones. Dimension Films has announced that they have acquired the rights to develop and produce Runt, a high concept comedic pitch by Walt Becker (Wild Hogs and National Lampoon’s Van Wilder) and David Gallagher. The screenplay will be co- written by Becker and Gallagher. Becker will also direct and executive produce the feature, with David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman producing through their production company Mandeville Films. Runt is a high concept comedy about twin brothers who are complete opposites....
