Yabba Dabba Doo! The Flintstones sequel series is now being developed at Fox, with Warner Bros. Animation revealing several details about the show, which will be titled Bedrock. Elizabeth Banks is attached to star and executive produce the project, with the Hunger Gamesactress reportedly voicing a 20-something version of Pebbles. Today we have news that Never Let Me Go director Mark Romanek has become the top candidate to replace Ron Howard on The Lost Symbol. Nuns can be scary. However, it wasn’t until James Wan’s Conjuring spinoff The Nun from 2018 (directed by Corin Hardy) that the frightening formula received a large-scale budget. Audiences were finally treated to full-scale nun horror, a subgenre that until now has been mostly deemed as tasteless schlock, with a “nunsploitation” subgenre that never seemed to appeal to an audience beyond the deepest realms of cult cinema. While nuns certainly have a place in horror and often show up as a common trope, it is surprising that it took this long for the religious icon to be center stage of a mainstream Hollywood horror vehicle....

It’s official, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne are heading back to the small screen. Per Variety, it has been announced that the two, who previously appeared with children Jack and Kelly in the hit reality show The Osbournes, have signed on for a new docuseries in the UK called Home to Roost. Dwayne The Rock Johnson told MTV that he has been approached to appear in the upcoming Shazam film. Problem is, he can’t decide if wants to play the good guy or the bad guy. Fox has released poster art for this year’s Halloween episode of The Simpsons, which takes aim at the popular Netflix series Stranger Things. Titled Treehouse of Horror XXX, the episode is oddly enough the 666th episode of the series, which the poster jokes was “planned that way from the very beginning.” A short-haired and bloody-nosed Lisa Simpson is front and center on the artwork, spoofing Millie Bobby Brown’s Eleven. Other alternate versions of the Stranger Things characters on the poster also include Chief Wiggum as Jim Hopper and Bart, Nelson, and Martin as Mike, Dustin, and Lucas....

MTV has announced that they will air a never-before-scene exclusive trailer for The Twilight Saga’s New Moon during their upcoming 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. This will all go down on September 13th, when the show airs live. Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner are scheduled to appear on stage to introduce the clip. That same day, MTV will debut the first single off the upcoming The Twilight Saga’s New Moon, which will be Death Cab for Cutie’s “Meet Me on the Equinox”....
