Somehow, the cast of upcoming action sequel extravaganza The Expendables 4 is looking more stacked with action heroes than ever before, with martial arts superstar Tony Jaa having now shared a glimpse behind the scenes alongside Jason Statham and The Raid star Iko Uwais. Echoing the sentiments of many an action movie fan, Jaa writes “finally! we work together,” alongside an image of himself standing with clenched fists besides The Stath....

Leonard Nimoy first lent his talents to the Transformers universe by voicing Galvatron in the 1986 animated Transformers: The Movie one-off. He will now return as the voice of Sentinel Prime, Optimus Prime’s predecessor, in director Michael Bay’s summer sequel Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Sentinel Prime’s wrecked body, which had crash landed on the moon and was discovered by the Apollo 11 astronauts in 1969, was first seen in the teaser trailer for Transformers: Dark of the Moon....

Netflix has released a gripping trailer for Unbelievable, a new limited series that’s inspired by real tales published in The Marshall Project and a ProPublica Pulitzer prize-winning article, “An Unbelievable Story of Rape,” written by T. Christian Miller and Ken Armstrong. In 2011, 18-year-old Marie filed a report that she was sexually assaulted by an intruder in her apartment where she lived alone. She described the details of the attack to the police officers, got an examination and participated in the investigation, but things didn’t go as expected, according to the article....

In the season of giving, Zara, the apparel retailer, has recruited director Luca Guadagnino to create a Christmas short film (43 minutes) to share with the world. O Night Divine, starring John C. Reilly and Alex Wolff in a Christmas tale that has Santa (Reilly) crossing paths with a busker (Wolff) on the mountaintops of St. Moritz, Switzerland seeking lodging at an upmarket hotel. Gary Oldman has been everywhere in support of his upcoming role in the werewolf revisionist romance thriller Red Riding Hood, and he has dropped many subtle hints about his turn as Jim Gordon in next summer’s The Dark Knight Rises. The big news story yesterday was Oscar-nominated actress Jennifer Lawrence confirmed to star as Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games adaptation. Some have speculated that the 20-year-old actress might be too old to portray the 16-year-old Katniss Everdeen, although director Gary Ross revealed that the casting decision was approved by author Suzanne Collins, who wrote the novel the movie is based on. It’s no secret that converting classics into 3D is in vogue, with new versions of Titanic, Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace, and Beauty and the Beast hitting theaters in 3D next year. Actor Elijah Wood revealed that The Lord of the Rings producers are actively talking about converting the entire trilogy into 3D for new theatrical releases. Here’s what the actor had to say below. Dune, played by Gina Carano, is an ex-Imperial Shock Trooper and she has an interesting backstory. John Wayne became an icon over the course of his career, particularly from his roles in war and great western movies throughout Hollywood’s Golden Age. Fans of Wayne might also know him as The Duke, which is a nickname that stuck with him since his childhood.
