Many MCU fans were surprised by the announcement that The Incredible Hulk character The Leader will be returning to the MCU in Captain America: New World Order. It appears that his return could have happened sooner, as the character played by Tim Blake Nelson was at one point set to be reunited with Tim Roth’s Emil Blonsky in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. She-Hulk creator Jessica Gao recently revealed that The Leader was certainly part of her original series pitch, but she couldn’t recall the circumstances that led to him being cut....

Building off the success of its hit docu-dramas, Bravo announces the premiere of its newest series in the genre, The Millionaire Matchmaker, where Patti Stanger, founder of a Los Angeles based elite matchmaking service, helps wealthy men find the women of their dreams. “The Millionaire Matchmaker” will premiere on Tuesday, January 22 at 11 PM ET/PT and moves to its regular time period on Tuesday, January 29 at 10 PM ET/PT....

Action films would not be the same without weapons. Filmmakers sometimes feel it is important that the choice of weapons for their characters should reflect the style of the world around them. Just like how many science fiction films prefer having laser pistols, rather than the standard bullet-firing pistols, because bullets would not be as proficient in different atmospheres. Some films have pushed the envelope by creating new and interesting weapons rather than sticking to the usual weapons chosen....

Before its theatrical release, The Muppets rolled out a string of trailers which parodied modern movies such as The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1, Puss in Boots, and Paranormal Activity 3. The Outfit has a seemingly meek and unassuming English tailor caught up with murderous gangsters. Oscar-winner Mark Rylance holds a master class in subtle duplicity. He threads the needle in a dangerous situation where lives are easily snuffed out. The Outfit is a scissors-sharp crime drama with a labyrinth of twists. It goes a tad overboard in a heated climax but packs a gut-shot of adrenaline. In 1956 Chicago, Leonard Burling (Rylance) owns a bespoke tailor shop with interesting clientele....

The Predator franchise has gone through quite an evolution in recent years. The franchise debuted in 1987 and provided a symbolic analysis of patriotic terrorism and toxic masculinity. Today, women and people of color are featured more prominently throughout the franchise, with serious character development and intense fight scenes that have only improved with the technological advancements Hollywood has made in the interim. The Predator (2018) would feature intense gunfights, a new kind of Predator, and plenty of comedy to lighten the film’s tone....

Principal photography began on The Rum Diary on March 25th, 2009 in Puerto Rico. Based on the first novel by Hunter S. Thompson, the film stars Johnny Depp, who is joined by Aaron Eckhart, Amber Heard, Michael Rispoli, Richard Jenkins and Giovanni Ribisi. Bruce Robinson, who also wrote the screenplay, is directing. The Rum Diary represents the debut film of Infinitum Nihil, the production company headed by Johnny Depp and Christi Dembrowski....

The holiday season is here and everyone has their particular favorite Christmas movie. One franchise that many holds near and dear to their hearts is The Santa Clause franchise. Originating in 1994, the franchise spawned a trilogy that ran for 12 years, and for many young kids, created and defined the mythology for which they viewed Santa, and also probably caused plenty of kids to misspell his last name. The Santa Clause franchise, being made by the Walt Disney Corporation, makes it ideal holiday viewing for safe family-friendly material, as the original is rated PG and both sequels are rated G....

Nerdist’s hit series Because Science has collaborated with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment to explore the science of Fatalities and iconic moves featured in the upcoming Mortal Kombat 11 videogame. The original limited series, The Science of Mortal Kombat, premieres Feb. 18, guest starring reigning UFC Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier, and marks Nerdist’s largest production ever, highlighting the creatively brutal and visually stunning gameplay which the best-selling Mortal Kombat franchise is known for....

Danny Boyle has tackled just about every genre at this point. He’s made a dope poem, a kiddy flick, a romantic comedy, an action adventure, and a zombie thriller. Now, he is tackling the Sci-fi genre with great and natural aplomb. His Sunshine is one of the few films that feels like a true classic this summer, but it’s boring “been there-done that” premise might deter some audience members from seeing it....

The Good A funny movie that never lets its subject off the hook or becomes the type of property it is lampooning. The Bad Fox didn’t send me this film with the correct packaging. Movie is too short. The TV Set is the tale of Mike Klein (David Duchovny) and his fight to keep his new TV show pilot as close to his original vision as possible. This movie doesn’t hesitate coming out of the gate with Klein already having to endure the head of the network’s (Sigourney Weaver) vicarious whims....

Welterweight Champion Matt Serra and former UFC Welterweight Champion Matt Hughes will serve as coaches for Season 6 of Spike TV’s highly-rated series, The Ultimate Fighter premiering Wednesday, September 19 at 11:00pm ET/PT. The Ultimate Fighter: Team Serra vs. Team Hughes features sixteen of the best up-and-coming mixed martial artists in the 170 lb. division from around the world. The two finalists will square off in a live finale in December, with the winner netting a six figure contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship(R), the premier mixed martial arts organization in the world....

A prequel miniseries to The Witcher, called The Witcher: Blood Origin, began streaming on Netflix yesterday. It’s only four episodes long but explores some events that are crucial to The Witcher universe. During an interview with Collider, of the series’ showrunners, Declan de Barra, explains how Minnie Driver’s character, Seanchai, came to be: The other showrunner, Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, had plenty of praise for Driver’s performance, and described the actress as “dream casting” for the show:...

Having been affected by COVID-19 for two years, it’s now back in full force, and it’s going to be jam-packed with plenty of new and exciting projects. Image Entertainment is looking forward to scaring you this fall! In a story from the Image Entertainment website, they report that on November 13 they will be bringing Tim Sullivan’s Driftwood to DVD. Synopsis: Riddled with guilt over the loss of his rock star older brother, 16-year-old David Forrester (Ricky Ullman) becomes obsessed with death, leading his misguided parents to send him to Driftwood, an “Attitude Adjustment Camp for Troubled Youths” run by the sadistic Captain Doug Kennedy (wrestling legend Diamond Dallas Page) and his brutal young henchman, Yates (Talan Torriero)....

Summer 2012 is heating up for moviegoers as Columbia Pictures adds three highly anticipated films to its summer slate, it was announced today by Jeff Blake, chairman, Worldwide Marketing and Distribution for Sony Pictures. Joining the strong summer line-up that already includes Men in Black III in 3D (May 25) and The Amazing Spider-Man in 3D (July 3), the studio will release I Hate You Dad, starring Adam Sandler and Andy Samberg, on June 22, Here Comes the Boom, starring Kevin James, on July 27, and a re-imagining of Total Recall, starring Colin Farrell, on August 3....

One chilling train ride will make a stop on DVD and Blu-Ray this November. Transsiberian will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray on November 4. We don’t have any special features details for these discs as of yet, but the standard disc will be priced at $28.98 SRP while the Blu-Ray will cost $34.98 SRP. The film stars Woody Harrelson, Emily Mortimer, Kate Mara and Ben Kingsley. When Bart decided to do a relationship comedy, he thought of David as the perfect on-screen husband for his wife....
