Lynda Carter launched into stardom portraying Diana Prince for 4 seasons in the mid 70s, and the actress has been rightfully proud of her work....

Marvel’s The Defenders is now available to stream on Netflix after a long wait and now the opening credits are available to watch online. The highly anticipated series premiered early Friday morning and since then, many have already binge watched all 8 episodes and some are gong in for seconds to analyze every little detail. Daredevil lives! After six years of waiting, the man without fear will return to streaming with Charlie Cox taking up the sticks as Matt Murdock once again. The actor originally starred in the Netflix series Daredevil, which was canned after three seasons due to rights issues. Disney had given Netflix rights to develop shows as it wished, but this has ceased entirely with the advent of its own streaming platform Disney+....

Ryan Reynolds dropped a major bomb on Marvel movie fans in 2022 by revealing that Hugh Jackman was going to be returning to his iconic role as Logan, aka Wolverine, the clawed mutant from the X-Men franchise, in the upcoming third installment of the Deadpool movies. To say the news was a surprise would be an understatement. Back in 2017, Jackman starred in Logan, the critically acclaimed and commercially successful final movie in Fox’s main X-Men series which saw the titular character embark on one final mission that ended in his demise....

The hit video game Cuphead is getting the small screen treatment, as it’s now being adapted as an animated series for Netflix. C.J. Kettler (Carmen Sandiego) of King Features is executive producing, along with Cuphead creators Chad and Jared Moldenhauer of Studio MDHR. Emmy and Annie award winner Dave Wasson (Mickey Mouse Shorts) is also executive producing, and Cosmo Segurson will serve as co-executive producer. Titled The Cuphead Show, the project will be produced by Netflix Animation....

The Dark Knight has been filming in Hong Kong, with stars Christian Bale and Morgan Freeman on hand to shoot scenes. According to the International Herald Tribune, filming finished this weekend, between Sunday night and Monday morning. The final scene shot in Hong Kong showed dozens of police officers storming a skyscraper in the financial district, the local production company assisting the filmmakers said. The sequence filmed did not involve any of the movie’s stars, and marks the end of a high-profile shoot clouded by pollution and energy consumption concerns....

Kinji Fukasaku’s 1968 sci-fi classic The Green Slime has been newly remastered for its DVD debut courtesy of Warner Archives, the only available place to purchase this long lost thriller. We reported yesterday that The Twilight Saga: Eclipse debuted with a record-breaking Wednesday debut and, while it dropped off significantly yesterday, the film has almost reached $100 million after two days. According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse took in an estimated $24.2 million on Thursday for a two-day tally of $92.8 million. The film received some competition yesterday, with the M. Night Shyamalan film opening in theaters yesterday to a solid $16....

The toy line and new details about Toy Story 3 emerged Sunday at an off-site event as the Annual Toy Fair kicked off, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Toy Story 3, set to open June 18, kicks off a multi-year deal between Pixar/Disney and Lego. At the event, Disney/Pixar unveiled the first of nearly 250 Toy Story 3 toys, created in partnership with more than 20 toy companies, including Thinkway Toys, Mattel, the Lego Group, Hasbro, Jakks Pacific and Fisher-Price....

Paramount Pictures announced today it will open Michael Bay’s Transformers: Dark of the Moon exclusively at 3D and IMAX locations across the country beginning at 9PM local time on Tuesday, June 28th, allowing moviegoers nationwide to be among the first to see the latest installment in the hit franchise, and the first to be shot in 3D. The movie will open wide beginning at 12AM on June 29th. “Michael Bay has created an incredibly engaging and immersive 3D experience with this latest movie, one that will undoubtedly be among the most entertaining movie going experiences of the summer,” said Paramount’s Vice Chairman Rob Moore....

In a story from Variety it seems that Virginia Madsen, Empire 8 Prods. and Vancouver’s Screen Siren will be putting together, Fighting Gravity. The film is about women ski jumpers and their fight to take part in the 2010 Winter Olympics. The documentary will look at 15 athletes as they go up against the International Olympic Committee’s decision to stop them from competing in the upcoming Games in Vancouver. At present the case is currently mired in the Canadian court system....
