After a string of ambitious online investments, NBC hopes to snatch even more viewers by giving its audience an online preview of its new drama Heist. Through a partnership between the network and Microsoft, MSN Video began offering an exclusive 16-minute sneak peak of the show Tuesday that will remain available until the program’s March 22 debut. The Hollywood Reporter says MSN will stream the series’ first two episodes in their entirety after they premiere on March 22 and 29....

Showtime will chronicle the rise and fall of “America’s Dad” in the four-part docuseries We Need to Talk About Cosby. Once known for his wholesome comedy and family values as seen on The Cosby Show, Bill Cosby was infamously accused of sexual assault and misconduct by dozens of women with the alleged crimes dating back decades. In 2018, the Ghost Dad star was sentenced to serve three to ten years in prison after he was found guilty of aggravated indecent assault against Andrea Constand....

According to The Hollywood Reporter, John Spencer, the versatile, Emmy-winning actor who had a central role on the NBC White House drama The West Wing from its inception, has died. He was 58. Spencer died Friday of a heart attack at Olympia Medical Center in Los Angeles. He would have turned 59 on Tuesday. Spencer had been sick with the flu for several days, according to his publicist, Ron Hofmann. The actor checked into the hospital Thursday and suffered a heart attack Friday morning, Hofmann said....

Donner confirmed that plans for X-Men Origins: Magneto are still in the works, perhaps....
