The Marvel Cinematic Universe comes to Disney+ plus with WandaVision, a television series with Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) as a fifties era, newly married couple, living in a bizarre sitcom suburbia. Episode One plays out like the classic television series “Bewitched”. She’s the doting housewife, while he’s the affable but goofy working-man husband. They hide their powers from their nosy neighbor, Agnes (Kathryn Hahn), and Vision’s coworkers....

Warner Home Video is back in the horror game. In a story from The Hollywood Reporter, the studio is creating more scary flicks under their Raw Feed shingle. The movies are made “back to back” with budgets of $5 million. The newest offerings from Raw Feed will be Otis, Supermarket and Rest Stop 2 The principals behind Raw Feed are 24 producer Tony Krantz, The X Files producer John Shiban and Daniel Myrick who co-directed The Blair Witch Project....

Watchmen photographer Clay Enos has enlisted his Organic Coffee Cartel (OCC) OrganicCoffee.com to produce a first-of-its-kind movie tie-in coffee for Watchmen, the upcoming film adaption of the celebrated graphic novel. On Tuesday, February 17, OCC will introduce Veidt Enterprise’s “Nite Owl Dark Roast,” a limited-edition confection and collectible designed for fans and organic coffee gourmands alike. A portion of the proceeds from the special roast will be donated to charity....

The Flintstones are coming back to television. Two popular NBC series are going to make their syndication debut on the cable network TBS. According to Variety, The Office is heading to the Super Station next year, with My Name Is Earl to follow soon after. The deal is valued at more than $130 million, and allows TBS to start airing repeats of The Office twice a week this fall. That is a full two years before any other channels are allowed to run the series in syndication....

Screenwriter Noah Oppenheim has been hired by Summit Entertainment to write The Secret Life of Houdini. Summit first acquired the biography by William Kalush and Larry Sloman in 2009. The Secret Life of Houdini follows the exploits of famed magician Harry Houdini, not only as an illusionist, but also as a spy for Great Britain. The studio wants to create a character that is part Sherlock Holmes and part Indiana Jones, following his rise as both a magician and covert agent....

Well, with cover art like this and a review from Cinefantastique that reads “Requiem for a Dream meets Near Dark”, I have to admit I had low expectations. Truth be told, the whole goth-erotic-vampire (vampyre?) scene really does nothing for me. But this turned out to be better than I thought . . . well, ok, not really, it’s absolutely terrible, but I was entertained and it was stupid enough to keep me watching....

Fans of The Walking Dead have been waiting since April 2nd for the 8th Season and now that it’s finally here, the long week wait is upon us for episode 2. The last 6 months have more or less been a breeze while waiting for the 100th episode and Season 8 debut, but now we have to wait an entire week for episode 2. Thankfully, episode 2, entitled The Damned, was teased after last night’s season 8 premiere and things are already starting to ramp up for the all-out-war that fans have been waiting for since the hit AMC show made its debut....

We saw the first five minutes of the movie, followed by a slick sizzle reel montage, and concluding with the theatrical trailer… although it was all in 3D. After the slick 3D rendition of the Paramount Pictures logo, the movie starts off with some narration by Optimus Prime, describing the war between the Autobots and Decepticons, all set to some wonderful battle shots depicting this epic war. Optimus goes on to explain that, as the Autobots were sure the war was lost, a lone ship was dispatched, carrying some precious cargo, which we discover actually crash landed on the moon....

Surprisingly well done despite the fact that it has two major Hollywood wieners in it - Luke Wilson…who I actually have no beef with, and Kate Beckensale who…well no beef with her either because I’m not sure what else she’s been in. So never mind. Anyway, it’s good. Wilson and Babe are driving through the night and they get lost. They pull over at a gas station and get directions only to break down a mile or so up the road....

Roth’s 3 Ball Prods have greenlit SuperGroup, a seven-episode reality show that casts Ted Nugent, Scott Ian, Sebastian Bach, Evan Seinfeld and Jason Bonham as members of a new band aimed at bringing metal back to the forefront of the music scene. Rockers from different bands will live together for two weeks in Las Vegas. They will endure boot camp-style training from iconic rock manager Doc McGhee in preparation for a concert at Sin City night spot Rain....
