Who knows what might be coming next in the world of The Vampire Diaries, but don’t count on seeing the return of Bonnie Bennett. In the original Vampire Diaries series, which would spawn two spinoffs in The Originals and Legacies, Kat Graham starred in the vital Bonnie role. The series finale put a cap on the stories of most of the show’s main characters, but Bonnie was left as one person who could theoretically return in a new series....

FX has shared some new character portraits showcasing the many faces of What We Do in the Shadows. Of course, this includes portraits of the main crew: Nandor (Kayvan Novak), Laszlo (Matt Berry), Nadja (Natasia Demetriou), Guillermo (Harvey Guillen), and Colin Robinson (Mark Proksch). However, a notable portait showcased Kristen Schaal’s character, who had a brief appearance in season 1 but hasn’t returned since. Based on the 2014 film from Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement, What We Do in the Shadows follows the lives of four goofy vampires and their familiar, Guillermo, who live in Staten Island....

Sometimes the size of a story has nothing to do with how many words are used to tell it. Think of Peter Jackson’s filmmaking experience with the works of J.R.R Tolkien. His passion to bring The Lord of the Rings to the screen had him soliciting and being rejected by nearly every major film studio in the late 1990s. Most people wouldn’t even meet with him, and the few studios that did were unwilling to talk about making any more than one film, except for Polygram Entertainment and New Line Cinemas....

The Final Destination franchise will always be terrifying, evidenced by the caution taken in our daily lives when driving behind trucks carrying logs. The franchise also stands out because, unlike other horror movies that utilize slashers or spirits as villains, death itself is the antagonist. The films are cleverly put together, indicating how death controls the environment, creating a series of events that eventually leads to the demise of characters who previously cheated death....

Brand new footage from The Office has been unveiled. Courtesy of Peacock, a deleted and never-before-seen scene has been uploaded to YouTube for every fan of the series to enjoy. The scene was removed from the tenth episode of season 5, “The Surplus,” in which Michael Scott (Steve Carell) is informed by Oscar (Oscar Nunez) that the office must spend a $4300 surplus or lose it from their next year’s budget....

NBC’s Emmy-winning comedy The Office will offer fans an exclusive “producer’s cut” of the November 20th episode. On Tuesday, November 25th, users can log onto NBC.com to stream the expanded episode, which will include additional scenes and extra footage not shown in the broadcast version. Fans will be able to stream both the broadcast version and the web-only, expanded version on NBC.com. The announcement was made today by Vivi Zigler, President, NBC Universal Digital Entertainment....

Set in 1890’s London, the film follows the bitter rivalry of two magicians bound by tragedy. Rupert Angier (Hugh Jackman) and Alfred Borden (Christian Bale) begin their careers working together in a magic act. A terrible miscalculation by Borden leads to the death of Angier’s wife (Piper Perabo)....

Netflix has announced The Redeem Team, a new documentary coming to the streaming platform on Oct. 7, 2022. The doc comes from the International Olympic Committee and Netlix as the two collaborate for the first time for this “riveting and nostalgic celebratory look” at Team USA’s Olympic Men’s Basketball victory in 2008. It is also the Olympic Channel’s first time producing a film exclusively for a global audience. Partnering up with the IOC has allowed Netflix access to never-before-seen archives, including basketball footage from the past 70 years of Olympic history....

There’s something about The Sandman that feels 25 years old, and not merely because the comics from Neil Gaiman ended 26 years ago. The new Netflix series feels like a time-traveler from some cultural moment between the mid-’90s and late 2000s, and its titular protagonist hearkens back to all the pale, brooding, gorgeous sad-boys of film and television — David Boreanaz in Buffy and Angel, Brandon Lee in The Crow, Aidan Turner of Being Human, Michael McManus in Lexx, Keanu Reeves in The Matrix, everyone in Twilight, and Johnny Depp in From Hell, Sleepy Hollow, Edward Scissorhands, and, well, pretty much every role outside Jack Sparrow....

The Good A strongly told movie with a very important message. The Bad The ultimate gift for me with this DVD would have been for it to contain better Special Features. Jason Stevens (Drew Fuller) thinks that he has happiness. He has wealth, a life full of things he’s acquired but he seems to be disconnected from his soul. When his grandfather Red Stevens (James Garner) passes away, Jason finds out that this cold man has mentioned him in his will....

The Walking Dead franchise is an unstoppable force of horror, seemingly never tiring of shocking viewers and keeping them on their toes. Over the course of its impressive 11-season run, it proved that there’s a deep well of stories and characters that can be explored in various mediums. Given the fans’ unwavering devotion to all things Walking Dead, the fact that three spinoff series have already been released should come as no surprise....

Much like the rest of the entertainment industry, production on the hit Netflix series The Witcher was halted amid the ongoing global situation. Following the recent announcement that production on the show would resume on August 17th, it is now being reported that filming for the second series of The Witcher will not end until February 2021. While this is not a definite date, should filming go on for that long it is very unlikely that audiences will be seeing the second series in the Summer of 2021 as was originally planned....

Thomas Robinson talks about playing Sebastian alongside Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman in The Switch The Switch, which stars Jason Bateman and Jennifer Aniston, will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on March 15. One of the other stars of the movie is Thomas Robinson, who makes his feature debut in the movie portraying Sebastian, the young son of Jennifer Aniston’s character, Kassie. They might not be in Kansas anymore, but they’ll be on DVD this March. Tin Man, which just aired on the Sci-Fi Channel on December 2, has already been slated for a DVD release on March 11. The two-disc set contains the entire 264-minute mini-series, and will be priced at $24.95 SRP. The mini-series stars Zooey Deschanel, Neal McDonough, Alan Cumming, Raoul Trujillo and Kathleen Robertson. A science fiction version of The Wizard of Oz in which Dorothy gets sucked into an alternate dimension called the “Outer Zone” where the law enforcement officers are called the Tin Men....
