The Terminator is getting an anime series on Netflix from the writer of The Batman. As Netflix expands its slate of original anime offerings, the streamer has now partnered with Genisys and Dark Fate producer Skydance and Production I.G (Ghost in the Shell) to develop The Terminator Anime Series based on the sci-fi action movie franchise. Mattson Tomlin, who worked on the screenplay for The Batman and wrote the Netflix superhero movie Project Power, will serve as showrunner and executive produce....

Marvel Studios has commenced principal photography on the highly anticipated feature film Thor directed by Kenneth Branagh. The Los Angeles Times is reporting that Universal Pictures is planning to bring back American Pie. Writers Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg (Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle) will script this new version of the franchise. The present title is simply American Pie 4. American Pie came out in 1999 and made more than $200 million worldwide. Sequels American Pie 2 and American Wedding followed. After this, a bunch of direct-to-DVD titles were released under the “American Pie Presents” banner....

Legendary actor Val Kilmer has declared his desire to return to some of his most iconic roles, both of which occurred in 1995, including Heat character Chris Shiherlis and Bruce Wayne aka Batman, a role he played just once in Batman Forever. During The Walking Dead Comic-Con panel, the show’s cast and producers unveiled the first Season 8 trailer, which ended with quite the shocking surprise, a glimpse “Old Man Rick,” which raised many questions. Walking Dead comic book creator Robert Kirkman teased that the Walking Dead Season 8 premiere explains Old Man Rick, but it seems that isn’t entirely the case. During a new interview, showrunner Scott M. Gimple teases that while we will in fact get a look at Old Man Rick in the premiere, but the full mystery behind this image won’t be solved until around the midseason finale....

Following last night’s episode of The Walking Dead, AMC released two new sneak peeks at this week’s all-new episode, Service, airing Sunday, November 13 at 9 PM ET on AMC. This video shows that the nefarious Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) has come to Alexandria, with Rick (Andrew Lincoln) explaining to his group that he’s no longer in charge. Negan is. We also see that another member of Rick’s group, Eugene (Josh McDermitt), has regressed to his cowardly ways....

Chandler Riggs has lined up his next acting gig nearly a year after his departure from The Walking Dead. The 19-year-old star will appear in a multi-episode arc on ABC’s series A Million Little Things. For the time being, Riggs is only on board for a single arc, but it could lead to more appearances down the road. More importantly, it gets a very talented young actor back in the game....
