Shortly after last night’s episode of The Walking Dead, AMC released a new preview and a clip from next week’s episode, Bury Me Here, which airs Sunday, March 12 at 9 PM ET on AMC. The preview shows Carol (Melissa McBride) leaving her home outside The Kingdom, while taking out a bunch of walkers. We also see that King Ezekiel (Khary Payton) has seemingly made the choice to stand up to the Saviors, which most likely means he’s ready to join Rick’s group to take down Negan’s massive army....

The Walking Dead returns with a powerful and emotionally devastating loss. Honor saw the tragic death of Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs). It is a benchmark moment for the series, truly moving into uncharted territory. It seems unreal that Rick’s (Andrew Lincoln) beloved son, a primary character, is gone. Carl’s swansong was bittersweet. We learn that the vision of old man Rick was actually Carl’s dream for peace. His hope for a united future is lost on Morgan (Lennie James), who has transformed into a lethal killing machine....

In a story from Variety, Warner Bros. will be turning Tom and Jerry into a big screen family franchise. The plan is for the main characters to be in CG but they will be placed in live-action settings. Producer Dan Lin will be adapting the Hanna-Barbera characters for this project. It will begin with their first meeting, how they don’t get along and then “reluctantly working together during an arduous journey home....

Wayne’s World director Penelope Spheeris has addressed the possibility of a third outing, suggesting that it could follow a similar path to recent slacker sequel, Bill and Ted Face the Music. In an interview with PopCulture.com, Spheeris played it coy when discussing a potential Wayne’s World 3, but did suggest that those fans who want to see it should send their requests directly to Paramount. It seems that fans of Mike Myers’ Wayne and Dana Carvey’s Garth have been sending Spheeris their ideas for a long-awaited third movie....

Heath Ledger’s death comes right on the eve of Warner Brothers massive ad campaign for the upcoming Batman sequel The Dark Knight. In the film, Ledger plays the Joker in what has been called one of the scariest, darkest performance to ever appear on screen. The status of the film’s ad campaign is uncertain. As of this moment, the film’s July 18th release date still stands. The project was wrapped in the fall, with much of the post-production work already finished....

IMAX Corporation, Paramount Pictures and Marvel Entertainment, LLC formally announced today that they have finalized an agreement to release the epic superhero adventure Thor in digital IMAX theatres worldwide day-and-date on May 6, 2011. The release marks the continuation of the partnership between IMAX, Paramount and Marvel. The film, based on the well-known Marvel comic book, is directed by Kenneth Branagh, produced by Kevin Feige, and stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman and Anthony Hopkins....
