The meticulously crafted world of the Netflix series Mindhunter made its way into the crowded world of crime dramas in 2017 and made its space. Things just aren’t looking up for the Sylvester Stallone sequel The Expendables 2. Fans are pissed about the PG-13 rating and threatening to boycott the film. The studio released a set of cartoon caricatures as promo art. Now we get a triple batch of promo images, and they are pretty bare bones and not too pretty. While they honestly do look like pics from a zero budget Asylum flick, they are most likely photos being used for upcoming posters or promo ads to sell the film, with the backgrounds and certain aspects of the actors to be airburched and fixed later....

A sequel to The Fighter is still a ways off, although it seems director David O. Russell is looking to both write and direct The Fighter 2. The Fighter was David O. Russell’s first project that he didn’t write himself. Scott Silver, Paul Tamasy, and Eric Johnson all collaborated on the Oscar-nominated screenplay. Here’s what David O. Get ready for some fighting bears and magical compasses on DVD and Blu-Ray. The Golden Compass is coming to the DVD shelves on April 29. The movie will be available in a number of formats. There will be a single-disc edition available for $28.98, a two-disc special edition priced at $34.99 and a Blu-Ray disc, with all the features of the two-disc edition, will sell for $39.99. The film stars Nicole Kidman, Daniel Craig and Dakota Blue Richards....

Now that The Office is officially coming to a close after this year’s Season 9, the outcome and fate of it’s spin-off The Farm is becoming a little more intense. This new series will revolve around Dwight (Rainn Wilson) and his take over of the family beet farm, which also serves as a bed and breakfast. Majandra Delfino recently signed on as Dwight’s sister, a single mother who returns to the farm after years in exile....

John Krasinki and Steve Carell will soon be sharing the screen once again, but it won’t be at the Scranton branch of Dunder Mifflin Paper Company. The two former stars of The Office will be part of the cast of If, a family movie in development at Paramount. As reported by Deadline, Krasinski will also be writing and directing the feature in addition to starring. The ensemble cast also includes Alan Kim, Louis Gossett Jr....

The series, now in its 34th season, has been officially renewed by Fox through season 36. Also renewed with their own 2-season renewal orders are fellow animated shows Bob’s Burgers and Family Guy, and this guarantees that all three shows will continue to air new episodes on Fox through the 2024-25 TV season....

Fox’s Animation Domination mainstay The Simpsons kicks off its unprecedented Season 25 on Sunday, September 29 at 8 PM ET. One of the other numerous shows debuting their new seasons that night is Showtime’s Homeland, although they won’t be competing with this Springfield family since their Season 3 premiere is at 9 PM ET. Regardless, Fox has debuted a humorous piece of promo art that pokes fun at the critically-acclaimed drama series, with Homer and Marge Simpson giving their best impressions of Damian Lewis and Claire Danes....

After the fourth season of Stranger Things took the world by storm, another Netflix original series is taking the crown as the #1 original streaming show in the country. According to the latest streaming data from Nielsen, which looks at the week of June 20-26, the third season of The Umbrella Academy was viewed for 2.45 billion minutes, beating out the 2.33 billion minutes of watch time accrued by Stranger Things during the same period....
