Wanted director Timur Bekmambetov has plans to produce and direct an upcoming fantasy-action re-imagining of the classic family adventure The Wizard of Oz titled Warriors of Oz. The mini-series will air on Syfy and is a futuristic post-apocalyptic version of the classic tale. The story will center on a present day warrior, who is transported to a post-apocalyptic future Oz. Once there, he teams with three other warriors named Heartless, Brainless, and Coward to take down the evil Wizard that has enslaved the inhabitants....

It seems that Uwe Boll’s big budget money train might have made it’s last stop. We haven’t heard much on the status of The Expendables 2 lately, although a few new names have been mentioned to star in the sequel. Nu Boyana Studios CEO David Varod said in an interview that Chuck Norris and John Travolta will co-star in The Expendables 2, which is apparently shooting at Nu Boyana Studios in Bulgaria. Freddie Highmore series The Good Doctor has been given the go ahead for a backdoor pilot spin-off entitled The Good Lawyer. As per Variety, the ABC show, which was first said to be in development last August, is now moving forward for a pilot, which will star Kennedy McMann and Felicity Huffman. If the pilot proves successful, the resulting series would put Huffman in her first major role since serving 11 days in prison for being involved in the 2019 college admission scandal....
