If this would’ve came out 10 years ago, in February of 1996, there might be a different tone to this review. The CW Network has ordered early pickups for the 2014-15 season for its hit series Arrow, Reign, The Originals, The Vampire Diaries and Supernatural, which will be returning for its tenth season next fall. The CW has handed out renewals for a total of 13 shows for the 2020/2021 season. Amongst those series that will be returning will be the entirety of the ArrowVerse lineup, which includes Batwoman. The Ruby Rose-led DC adaptation will be coming back for season 2 following its debut last year. The CW’s Nancy Drew has also been handed a season 2 order. On the DC side of things, Black Lightning will return for season 4....

UPDATED: We just received word from Fox that The Day the Earth Stood Still reshoots are not actually happening. They explained that there were no reshoots. Only two days of small pick ups, with most of that being plate shots that were always scheduled, in order to complete some of the special effects work that are needed. The Hollywood Reporter has reported that the series has just been renewed for a sixth and final season on the streaming platform.
