Recently we had the pleasure of sitting down with Buster Bluth himself, Tony Hale, to discuss the upcoming release of Arrested Development: Season 3 on DVD. During the interview, Hale dropped hints that the world might not be done with the Bluth family just yet, as there is talk of a movie version of Arrested Development possibly happening. “Now, we’re talking about a movie,” Hale began. “I don’t know if that’s true but hopefully we’ll be able to come together again....

Joseph Kosinski and Sean Bailey (the director and producer team behind Disney’s new Tron: Legacy) have teamed up with writer Travis Beacham for the reinvention of The Black Hole, a 1979 Disney sci-fi film that held the record for most expensive Disney movie at the time of its making. According to Heat Vision Blog, the original followed a group of space explorers aboard the USS Palomino who come across a lost ship, the USS Cygnus, hovering outside a black hole....

Showtime is bringing Twin Peaks back in a big way this spring. It will be an 18 hour reunion for friends and fans of the small logging town in the great Northwest. Tim Burton has once against succeeded in developing a disturbing story, this time through the lens of The Addams Family spinoff, Wednesday. Following Wednesday at her new boarding school, Nevermore, she finds herself at the heart of a dangerous new threat while finding herself smarter than many of her peers as she wanders through supernatural developments. Wednesday Addams does not want to be at Nevermore until she stumbles upon a dangerous mystery she has no choice but to be intrigued by when she realizes her potentially direct connection to a probable life-or-death battle....

This week’s Westworld brought forth a whole lot of pay off for some characters in the show and for some plot lines we’ve been waiting patiently to see resolve, or at least actually go somewhere. The results of these various pay offs and plot lines have set up what’s to come in the weeks ahead, in addition to that pretty interesting cliffhanger. Let’s dig in, shall we? The Wagner/Cuban Companies today announced that its latest 2929 Productions’ film, What Just Happened, will open on October 3. The film will be released through 2929’s sister company, Magnolia Pictures, and veteran marketing executive Russell Schwartz has been brought on board to develop and implement the marketing and distribution strategy. Directed by Academy Award-winner Barry Levinson and based on the best-selling memoir by veteran Hollywood producer Art Linson (who also penned the screenplay), the film stars Robert De Niro, Catherine Keener, Stanley Tucci, Robin Wright Penn, John Turturro, Michael Wincott, Bruce Willis, Sean Penn and Kristen Stewart....

It takes a while to identify each supporting character, but you’re laughing hysterically the whole time. Wackiness compounds as long-held insecurities erupt at the worst possible time. It doesn’t help that the group were all previously intimate to varying degrees. The resulting chaos leaves the protagonists pondering their future together....

The beginning of the end starts Monday, Febraury 19 (9:00 p.m. EST) when the critically-acclaimed animated series Star Wars Rebels returns to Disney XD with new episodes as the series nears its grand finale. The team behind The Last of Us, the HBO series based on the video game, is confident in its success. After writing the original video game, Neil Druckmann collaborated with Chernobyl creator Craig Mazin to develop a TV series adaptation for HBO. It is hard to deny that Marvel movies are becoming one big family affair the deeper we go into the story of the MCU, and the crossover of characters doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon as a new behind the scenes image from The Marvels seems to suggest that Tessa Thompson could well be making an appearance as Valkyrie in the upcoming Captain Marvel sequel. An image of the cast photos shared on Twitter seems to show Thompson’s picture alongside that of known cast members including Brie Larson, Iman Vellani and Zawe Ashton, as well as that of another unexpected face in Lashana Lynch, who it looks like will be reprising her Captain Marvel role of Maria Rambeau in some capacity....
