The New Adventures of Old Christine, starring Emmy Award winner Julia Louis-Dreyfus (“Seinfeld”), premieres Monday, March 13 (9:30-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. The New Adventures of Old Christine is a comedy about a single mother and owner of a “30-minute workout gym” (Louis-Dreyfus) who is the portrait of the new American mom, albeit with some unflinchingly candid points of view. For her, everyday is an adventure, but life is made easier due to the fantastic relationship she shares with her ex-husband, that is until his new girlfriend enters the picture, instantly complicating her life....

Our first look at Scott Calvin’s return has been revealed. Previously, it had been reported that Tim Allen would reprise the role of Scott, aka Santa Claus, in a new series in the works at Disney+. Dubbed The Santa Clauses, the show serves as a direct follow-up to the original movie trilogy which starred Allen. On Twitter, the Disney+ account just shared a first look photo for The Santa Clauses to celebrate the “halfway to the holidays” mark, and you can check out the post below....

It seems Twilight star Robert Pattinson will be joined by a few ladies in his next film. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Uma Thurman has joined the cast of Bel Ami. Kristin Scott Thomas has also joined the cast alongside Pattinson for this adaptation of the Guy de Maupassant short story. The film will revolve around journalist George Duroy (Pattinson) who rises to the top of Paris’ social structure due to his ability to charm and bed the Parisian female elite....

Sony has big plans for Uncharted, with the studio reportedly planning to launch a major new franchise with multiple sequels. Despite the critical lashing that the first outing received when it hit theaters earlier this year. The news of Sony’s intentions comes from notable insider Jeff Sneider and The Ankler, and states that Sony Pictures CEO Tom Rothman is “excited” about returning to the video game adaptation for more adventures....

Two popular Universal Studios backlot shooting locations – New York Street and the Back to the Future courthouse square – were engulfed in smoke Sunday during a wild predawn blaze that turned the King Kong amusement park attraction and countless copies of studio films and TV shows in a cavernous video vault into charcoal. According to Variety, the fire was still burning hours later, and the full impact on shooting and themepark operations was unclear....

A Veronica Mars revival series is in the works with original creator Rob Thomas on board along with star Kristen Bell. Apparently, the idea has been talked about quietly for months, with some major details still left to discuss. Since Bell currently stars in NBC’s The Good Place, it’s believed that the new revival series will be limited, possibly 8 to 10 episodes, working around Bell’s schedule. Warner Bros. is currently negotiating with Hulu to air the Veronica Mars revival series....

The reboot of Get Smart isn’t even complete yet but that hasn’t stopped Warner Bros. from prepping a spin off of sorts. In a story from The Hollywood Reporter, it seems that Masi Oka and Nate Torrence, two cast members from the big screen version of Get Smart (currently in production), “are set to reprise their characters for Get Smarter: Bruce and Lloyd Out of Control. Masi Oka will reprise his role of Bruce and Torrence will reprise Lloyd, from the big screen Get Smart film....

Warner Bros. Pictures and Jerry Weintraub Productions are planning a biopic of the man who gave recording contracts to Billie Holliday, Benny Goodman, Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen – legendary Columbia Records A&R executive John Hammond. Variety reports that the studio has bought film rights to Dunstan Prial’s biography The Producer: John Hammond and the Soul of American Music, published in June by Farrar Straus Giroux. The great-grandson of William Henry Vanderbilt, Hammond was born in New York in 1910....

Ben Affleck’s DCU entrance in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was a standout among viewers. His grizzled, older version of the character was something different from Robert Pattinson’s The Batman. Affleck applied a world-weariness to the caped crusader that audiences had never seen before. Directed under Zack Snyder, there was a promise of a different and darker version of the character. Now with the universe rebranded as the DCU, fans wonder how Affleck could return....

In 2020, reports circulated of Warner Bros. plans to remake the beloved 1986 Little Shop of Horrors, an arguably perfect film. The updated casting included Billy Porter, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, and Taron Egerton, with talk of Greg Berlanti directing. In 2021, an interview with Billy Porter in Metro Weekly poured water on the flames of the project, stating the reboot may or may not be indefinitely on hold. While recently there has been only news of small theater companies continuing to honor the Little Shop of Horrors musical theater show across the country, speculation into Warner Bros....

Bob Iger had been Disney’s CEO for 15 years before he left in 2020, and he is responsible for the Disney we know today. Iger masterminded the acquisition of Pixar, Lucasfilm, and 20th Century Fox. He oversaw the launch of Disney+. He’s the reason that Disney owns Marvel Comics. Bob Iger’s phenomenal success was up when his contract ran out in 2020, and now, two years after his departure, the man returns to shepherd Disney through troublesome times as their stock plummets....

The very first teaser trailer for The Dark Knight will premier this Friday, July 27th, in front of select theaters playing The Simpsons Movie. According to SSH, this is what you’ll be seeing: The teaser opens with the Warner Brothers logo, then quickly fades into the DC comics logo. And then the Legendary Pictures logo comes up. Bullet Train star Aaron Taylor-Johnson will reunite with director David Leitch for the upcoming adaptation of The Fall Guy, with Taylor-Johnson set to star alongside two-time Oscar nominee Ryan Gosling. The Fall Guy is a feature-film adaptation of the beloved 1980s television series of the same name, which follows Hollywood stuntman Colt Seavers, who makes extra cash by moonlighting as a bounty hunter when movie stunt work runs low. The Fall Guy ran from 1981 to 1986 and starred Lee Majors as Colt Seavers, and while there is a lot of love for the show, it has now been revealed, alongside the addition of Aaron Taylor-Johnson, that the upcoming adaptation will make a few changes....
