The hit series WandaVision was watched by a lot of people this year, but a great many of them didn’t pay for the experience. Debuting exclusively on the streaming service Disney+ in January, WandaVision serves as the first chapter of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase Four after the events of Avengers: Endgame. Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany return to reprise their respective roles as Wanda Maximoff and Vision, the two apparently caught up in some kind of sitcom-like world....

Since the award-winning drama series’ debut, Westworld has captivated audiences by exploring the dawn of artificial consciousness and the evolution of sin with the latest season delving into the questions surrounding free will. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will be releasing Westworld Season Three: The New World on 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack, Blu-ray and DVD on November 17, 2020. White Men Can’t Jump, the upcoming remake of the 1992 classic, was announced a while ago but hasn’t had a release date until now. The director, Calmatic, who is primarily known for his work on commercials and music videos, confirmed with Collider that the movie will be released in 2023 and that only the finishing touches need to be made: The film doesn’t have a trailer yet, but we know that Sinqua Walls and Jack Harlow have been cast in the lead roles....

SCI FI Channel’s hit reality series Who Wants to Be a Superhero? from Nash Entertainment and POW! Entertainment Inc., returns for its second season on Thursday, July 26 at 9:PM ET/PT. More controversy has befallen The Crown. Primarily following the reign of Queen Elizabeth II, The Crown debuted its fifth season on Netflix in November. The latest season had already conjured up some backlash ahead of its premiere, as some viewers were uncomfortable watching the series following the deaths of Prince Philip in 2021 along with Queen Elizabeth in September 2022. Some critics have said that Netflix needs to add disclaimers emphasizing that the series is a fictional dramatization of real-life events, with Dame Judi Dench even calling out The Crown for “crude sensationalism....

In “The Damned United” actor Michael Sheen once again gives a remarkably outstanding performance as a real-life English public figure, this time playing Football Manager Brian Clough. Beginning with his portrayal of British-Prime Minister Tony Blair in the British television movie “The Deal” and then in the feature film “The Queen,” Sheen most recently played English talk show host David Frost in Ron Howard’s “Frost/Nixon.” The actor has an uncanny ability to play a role based on a public figure in a way that makes you completely believe you are looking through a window into that world while at the same time displaying a vulnerability that makes you sympathize with the character....

It’s time to feel lucky pretty soon on DVD and Blu-Ray. Warner Bros. announced at a recent press conference that it will be releasing the five films in the Dirty Harry series in a Dirty Harry: Ultimate Collectors Edition set. The set will include all five films - Dirty Harry, Magnum Force, The Enforcer, Sudden Impact and The Dead Pool - in brand new special or deluxe editions. The set will be available in standard and Blu-Ray formats....

Hollywood is starting, and we do stress starting, to get back on its feet following the widespread shutdown earlier this year. The CW is looking to get The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow and more back in production in the coming weeks. Other Greg Berlanti productions for HBO Max are also set to resume shortly. The CW had been forced to push most of its fall programming to 2021 due to the delay but, after months of uncertainty, things are finally starting to get back on track....

The Good An uplifting tale that should tell us all it’s never too late to dream. The Bad No Extras. The Flying Scotsman is the uplifting tale of Graeme Obree (Jonny Lee Miller). Down on his luck and not really providing well for his family, Obree gets rebitten by the cycling bug when British cyclist Chris Boardman wins the gold at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. As Boardman was a friend of Obree’s they often raced one another and Obree was sometimes on the winning end of those contests....

Paramount Pictures is bringing The Godfather back to the big screen in commemoration of the movie’s 50th anniversary. Directed by Francis Ford Coppola and based on the novel by Mario Puzo, The Godfather is still considered to be one of the best movies of all time. A newly-restored version will give fans the chance to see it in theaters next month, and you can watch the trailer for the 50th anniversary screening below....

Even before the massive box office success of The Hunger Games, Lionsgate was moving forward with the sequel, Catching Fire, hiring writer Simon Beaufoy to handle the screenplay back in January. While it may have been a foregone conclusion that Gary Ross would return to direct, the filmmaker and Lionsgate are currently engaged in ’tough negotiations’ for the sequel. Stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, and Liam Hemsworth already have deals in place for the sequel, but the filmmaker did not....

The premiere begins literally just after the Season 1 finale, with Sarah Linden (Mireille Enos) in the airport with her son Jack (Liam James), after, apparently, leaving her flight right before it took off. We also see our favorite hoodie-loving cop Holder (Joel Kinnaman), and who exactly is driving that mysterious car which picked him up at the end of last year’s Season 1 finale. Belko Royce (Brendan Sexton III) is in custody after shooting Darren Richmond (Bill Campbell), and we also learn that Belko killed his mother too!...

You can bring home the complete first season of one of ABC’s hit new comedies on DVD at the end of August. The Middle: The Complete First Season will be released on DVD on August 31. This three-disc set will contain all 24 episodes of this first season and the set will be priced at $44.98 SRP. The sci-fi genre has had some wonderful additions in the past few years, and the genre continues to pull massive amounts of viewers. This is a double-edged sword for fans of science fiction. On one hand, it brings much more money into the genre; this means bigger budgets, higher production value, A-list actors, and reputable directors and creative teams. On the other hand, this influx of money can bring a sort of over saturation, a race toward churning out the next big moneymaker, and the misuse of beloved IP by those who do not fully appreciate its origins....

And it is regarded as one of the most successful and controversial films ever made about Christianity. It has become controversial amongst people because of its recognizable subject matter. It shows us one of the most recognizable images of Western culture (Jesus on the cross) and forces us to violently reconsider something we see every day....

For fans of the Street Fighter video game and anime series, news about a live-action film update make them nervous, especially after the disaster that was the first Street Fighter movie. Fortunately, as was revealed in an interview with Collider, Ashok Amritaj, the producer of Street Fighter: Legend of Chun-Li seem to understand the series and knows what they fans actually want from the film. Amritaj believes that a large part of the failure of the first film was the inclusion of too many characters, and as such, he says that this film will focus on Chun-Li’s story....

Fox has renewed The Simpsons, the longest-running comedy in television history, for an incredible 24th and 25th season, bringing the series total to an astonishing 559 episodes.
