Disney XD has unveiled the trailer for its upcoming animated series Tron Uprising, which is part of the Tron: Legacy multi-platform franchise that is to encompass movies, potential sequels, video games, animated television projects and maybe even a theme park attraction. Check out the trailer below! The voice cast for Tron Uprising includes Elijah Wood, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Mandy Moore, Paul Reubens, Nathan Corddry, Lance Henriksen and Tron himself Bruce Boxleitner. It is directed by Charlie Bean, Joseph Kosinski and Sean Bailey, and is written by Tron: Legacy writers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz....

Showtime has released two new trailers for Twin Peaks Season 3, which debuts this May. It’s still too early to give fans any real footage from these new episodes. Instead we get to see Agent Dale Cooper in the Black Lodge, smashing his head into a mirror, releasing his inner Bob. We also get to see the body of Laura Palmer as it is first discovered. This all comes with the ominous warning that it is all happening again....

Ubisoft, one of the world’s largest video game publishers, announced that it will develop and publish the video game based on Twentieth Century Fox’s Avatar, the upcoming feature film written and directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker James Cameron, whose previous films include Titanic, True Lies, The Abyss, Aliens, The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgement Day. Avatar is the story of an ex-Marine who finds himself thrust into hostilities on an alien planet filled with exotic life forms....

Violent Night director Tommy Wirkola has confirmed there talks are now underway regarding a sequel. Speaking with THR, Wirkola even revealed what he would like to see explored in Violent Night, with the filmmaker hoping to introduce his take on the North Pole, Mrs. Claus, and Santa’s Elves. During the interview, it is suggested that Wirkola reunite with his The Trip and What Happened to Monday? star Noomi Rapace, with the director thinking she would make a great Mrs....

The trailer for M3GAN, the new horror movie from screenwriter Akela Cooper, has finally arrived. Television icon Wes Bentley, along with Sarah Michelle Gellar and Craig Robinson, are set to receive honors at the 2023 Savannah College of Art and Design’s TVfest. In addition, American filmmaker Sterlin Harjo will also receive an award at the Georgia television festival. Bentley is well-known for his roles, including Ricky Fitts in American Beauty, Seneca Crane in The Hunger Games, and, more recently, Jamie Dutton in Yellowstone. He is set to receive the Virtuoso Award....

HBO takes a bold step forward today, announcing the official renewal of its entire fall Sunday lineup. HBO has renewed new sci-fi drama Westworld for Season 2. It also confirmed that there will be a Season 2 for the Sarah Jessica Parker comedy Divorce as well as Insecure, which is lead by Issa Rae. All three series have been renewed for 10 episodes each. Divorce and Insecure have been confirmed for a 2017 return....

Andor, the new Star Wars series on Disney+, released its first three episodes on Wednesday, September 21st. And crashing onto the scene like a spaceship on an undeveloped world, the series has proved that Star Wars is not just for children anymore. Disney+ released Andor, surprising fans with how dark it was. Though it isn’t about a chemistry teacher making drugs, or a sexist ’50s guy selling cigarettes, Andor distinguishes itself by telling the story of what it’s like to be under the heel of a militant police force with nothing left to lose....

Hollywood has always struggled to make child-friendly content. Even films like Minions or Coco, while technically aimed at younger viewers, contain the kind of jokes and themes that are better appreciated by adults. In a surprise movie, The Crown season 5 will not conclude the show as had been previously announced. Instead, Netflix and creator Peter Morgan have opted to do a sixth and final season, which will bring the series into the early 2000s. The news was confirmed by the official Netflix U.K. and Ireland Twitter account with the following message.
