The zombie apocalypse is far from over on AMC. It’s really just beginning. The network has officially announced that a new, untitled Walking Dead Spin-Off series taking place in The Walking Dead universe is coming our way. Few details have been revealed at this time, but the new show will make its debut on the cable channel in 2020. The network has handed out a 10-episode first season order. AMC made the announcement at a press conference in New York....

Prepare to head back to the cartoon trailer park next month, as it’s just been revealed that Trailer Park Boys: The Animated Series will return to Netflix with new episodes in May. Picking up directly where the live-action version of the series left off, the animated Trailer Park Boys takes our favorite characters from the show and places them into an amusing cartoon world. After premiering the first season of the animated adaptation last year, the Trailer Park Boys social media accounts have unveiled the return date for the show....

Transformers: Dark of the Moon entered its second full day of release yesterday, adding another $21.5 million to its already-impressive box office tally. The 3D sequel has earned $64.7 million after just two days in theaters. The movie did slide 43% from Wednesday’s opening day gross of $37.2 million, which included $8 million from midnight screenings. The good news is Transformers: Dark of the Moon’s second-day decline is less than Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen’s next-day drop....

Looking to land his next sitcom, Chuck Lorre has apparently looked back at a major controversy involving one of his previous shows for some inspiration. THR reports that Lorre crafted a script for a half-hour sitcom dubbed Sex, Drugs, and a Sitcom, and it’s directly based on his experiences working with Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men. Sheen had starred in the sitcom alongside Jon Cryer and Angus T....

Netflix has released the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt interactive special trailer. The special is officially titled Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy vs. The Reverend and it looks pretty crazy. There’s a lot going on in the trailer, which makes sense, since it’s been a while since we’ve seen Kimmy and crew. One of the more interesting things is that she’s preparing to marry Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe, which the audience will have to help plan along with them....

Fox has unleashed the first six minutes of the highly-anticipated fall series The Gifted, which premieres Monday, October 2 at 9 PM ET on Fox. This clip introduces fans to the powerful mutant Blink (Jamie Chung), who uses her unique abilities to escape from the police who are chasing her. A state of emergency has been declared in California, where the Woolsey fire is rapidly spreading. Beginning on Thursday night, the wildfire has since rapidly spread, fueled by strong winds and dry conditions. Tens of thousands of people have had to evacuate their homes as the fire has left immense chaos in its wake, destroying practically everything in its way. Among the many structures to be decimated by the wildfire so far, some of the buildings shown in the hit HBO series Westworld have also been burned to the ground....

The CW Network and producer Neal Baer are teaming up for a new TV series inspired by the pulp comic book The Avenger. The comic debuted in 1939 in issues of Street & Smith Magazine, which followed Richard Benson, who seeks out revenge for the death of his daughter Alice and his wife. The series will alter the source material slightly, centering instead on Alice Benson, who discovers she has the power to alter her appearance after the death of her parents....

In the fictional city of Gotham, there are many notorious villains. Disney’s live-action retelling of Pinocchio comes to Disney+ later this year, and the first trailer has finally brought a look at the wooden boy who is magically brought to life in all his glory. Starring Tom Hanks as Geppetto, Disney released a first look image of Hanks and Pinocchio, who is voiced by Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, back in March. However, this trailer is the first real footage to be shown from the movie, and features all of the key elements of the original animated classic that you would expect....
