For its second year in a row, DC FanDome took place this weekend with the event showcasing the latest in what’s to come to the DC universe pertaining to its films, television series, comics, video games, and more. During this year’s DC FanDome, fans were able to get a very first look at the newest costume for The CW’s The Flash. In the upcoming eighth season, Barry Allen aka The Flash will finally be donning his iconic and long-awaited golden boots!...

The Flash season 5 trailer is here. The CW debuted the first footage from the upcoming season during San Diego Comic-Con where quite a bit was revealed about the future of the series and it’s going to be deadly. “There’ll be a lot of deaths this season,” teased executive producer Todd Helbing. So don’t get too attached to anyone because they may not be around for very long. The trailer gets twisty quick, with Barry and Iris’ daughter Nora from the future arriving at their doorstep....

It seems that we will be seeing more hauntings at the box office, and not just in Connecticut. According to Bloody-Disgusting, Gold Circle Films are developing two sequels to the horror film The Haunting in Connecticut. The second film will be entitled Haunting in New York, which will be based off a 2006 episode of A Haunting entitled A Haunting: The Diabolical. Last month, actor Martin Freeman revealed that his Sherlock co-star Benedict Cumberbatch is joining him in Middle Earth for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. As it turns out, Benedict Cumberbatch actually has two roles in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, portraying Smaug and voicing the Necromancer character. Benedict Cumberbatch will portray Smaug using motion-capture techniques, which Andy Serkis also utilizes to play Gollum. Smaug is one of the most powerful dragons in Middle Earth, who makes his home at Lonely Mountain....

You can bring home a critically-acclaimed drama starring Helen Mirren and Christopher Plummer this June. The Last Station will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on June 22. The Midnight Club is one of the many new shows to hit Netflix this month. The miniseries is both written, produced, and directed by Mike Flanagan, whom many believed was the perfect choice to adapt the story, which was based on work by Christopher Pike. For Flanagan, the show follows his 2021 horror series Midnight Mass, which was arguably one of the best horror series of the year. Last night was Steve Carell’s last episode as a series regular on The Office, although, according to one of the show’s producers, the actor may return as a guest star next season. The Good A finely crafted horror movie that is bolstered by some very solid performances. The Bad More bonus features than the back cover lets on. The front cover seems thrown together. The Skeleton Key was a film that when I first saw the trailer for it I wasn’t too sure what to expect. In it’s initial previews the movie looked like it was going to be one of those “dark” films that revealed some chills every so often in order to heighten the mood....

The Last Airbender universe is set to expand a bit further, with three new animated films in development, according to reports from Deadline. Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon Animation announced the new projects during the Annecy International Film Festival. In addition, they revealed the director of the first film, Lauren Montgomery. She has previously worked on the original series, Avatar: The Last Airbender, alongside the spinoff series The Legend of Korra....
