After 25 years, Titanic will again be playing on the big screen. During an interview with MTV, Tom Selleck let it be known that another Three Men and a Baby movie was in the offing. There have been two so far in the series with the first one coming out in 1987, and the second one being released in 1990 titled Three Men and a Little Lady. It also looks like Selleck will again be sharing the screen with his Three Men and a Baby co-stars Steve Guttenberg and Ted Danson....

Jeopardy! is reportedly looking for a potential replacement for longtime host Alex Trebek, and The Room director Tommy Wiseau has volunteered. Trebek recently announced his stage 4 pancreatic cancer diagnosis, leaving his future on the series uncertain. Despite the grim diagnosis, Trebek vowed to continue hosting the program with every intention to beat the disease. Still, because Jeopardy! producers had already been looking at potential replacements, given how Trebek is 78 years old and had been considering retirement, they need someone new to come in....

Despite being released almost three months ago, legacy sequel Top Gun: Maverick continues to reach new heights and recently surpassed the Marvel epic Avengers: Infinity War at the domestic box office. Now the sixth-highest-grossing movie ever in North America, Top Gun: Maverick producer Jerry Bruckheimer has explained why he believes the action drama has managed to overtake the superhero offerings of Marvel and DC. Speaking with EW, Bruckheimer first praised the efforts Marvel and DC, before reasoning that it is the reality of Top Gun: Maverick that has so overwhelmingly appealed to audiences....

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Toshiba American Consumer Products on Thursday announced an ambitious marketing push in support of HD-DVD but conceded that some of the high-definition optical disc format’s interactive features won’t be available in the two first-generation players slated to hit stores next month without a “firmware upgrade.” Meanwhile, sources close to the rival Blu-ray Disc camp say an agreement has been reached on an interim license for the AACS copy-protection system both formats will use, removing one of the final obstacles that had been standing in the way of a launch....

Red Hour Films, Lauren Versel and Maria Teresa Arida of Lucky Monkey Pictures and Molly Hassell announced today that Wallace Shawn, Justin Kirk, Dan Stevens and Todd Barry have joined the cast of writer/director Amy Heckerling’s new feature film Vamps. Written and to be directed by Heckerling, Vamps tells the modern day tale of two young beautiful female vampires (Alicia Silverstone, Krysten Ritter) living the good nightlife in New York until love enters the picture and each has to make a choice that will jeopardize her immortality....

One of the summer’s smash hits is coming to DVD and Blu-Ray this November. WALL-E will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray on November 18. In a recent interview with MTV, Inglorious Basterds director Quentin Tarantino revealed that he was offered the chance to direct the upcoming big screen adaptation of Green Lantern, which is now set to star Ryan Reynolds. Pop, Soul, and R&B icon Whitney Houston has passed away at the age of 48. Time, location, and cause of death are currently unknown, according to the singer’s publicist Kristen Foster. News of the singer’s passing comes on the eve of music’s biggest night with The Grammy Awards. It is not known at this time how the singer, who once reigned as Grammy queen, will be honored at the impending ceremony tomorrow night....
