Gerard Way has released a new song for The Umbrella Academy season 2. The song, titled Here Comes the End, was released alongside the brand new trailer for the hit Netflix series, which is based on Way’s beloved comic book series of the same name. Now, the My Chemical Romance frontman has contributed a new tune for the show’s return as well. The track features Judith Hill and has a major 60s rock feel to it....

After The Witcher rose quickly to popularity when it was released in 2019, ideas for new spin-off shows quickly began to pop up all over the place. SEGA® Europe Ltd. and SEGA® of America, Inc. today announced they have signed Chris Hemsworth to voice the title role and Tom Hiddleston to voice Loki in the upcoming action adventure Thor™: God of Thunder. Both actors’ likenesses will also be used in the game, which is based on the legendary franchise from Marvel Entertainment, and marks Thor’s first standalone appearance in a video game. “Bringing in Chris and Tom to star in Thor: God of Thunder gives us AAA talent that will create a truly cinematic interactive experience,” said Gary Knight, Senior Vice President of Marketing at SEGA Europe and SEGA of America....

The Wrap is reporting that Tim Allen, the voice of Buzz Lightyear, is under contract to reprise his role as the iconic spaceman in Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story 4. That said, this doesn’t mean that Pixar is going to make another feature-length sequel for the franchise. It just might mean that Tim Allen, and some others in the cast, signed up for multiple films some time ago. However, with the recent success of Toy Story 3, Disney and Pixar have to at least be thinking about a fourth film....

There’s a simple rule to follow in a good recipe. Don’t mess with the ingredients or what you get will not be as good as the original. This lesson is invariably never learned in Hollywood. Director Len Wiseman and his screenwriters, Kurt Wimmer and Mark Bomback, make some puzzling changes in their remake of the science fiction classic - Total Recall. They kept a few major story elements, but then change others that made the original film a classic....

Mike Smith, who plays the iconic shed dwelling Bubbles, told Toronto’s Now magazine that they are currently shooting a sequel to Trailer Park Boys: The Movie, an off-shoot of the popular Canadian TV series, and it will be hitting the U.S. and Canada in October of 2009. The gang is currently in Halifax shooting the comedy, which will wrap on October 10th....

Uwe Boll is up to his old tricks again. The director who has made such financial and critical bombs like Alone In The Dark, BloodRayne and In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale, has posted a new video on MovieSet.com/Postal, a site created for his new film Postal. The video shows Boll responding to a recent internet petition to get him to stop making movies. You have to see this for yourself, but be forewarned, there is some R-rated language in here, folks....

The film adaptation of the Alan Moore and David Lloyd classic graphic novel, “V for Vendetta”, is a poorly paced and spectacularly disjointed rehash of Orwellian themes. It has a high production value and looks great, but suffers from a lack of narrative exposition that leads to sizable holes in the plot. The biggest and most surprising disappointment is Natalie Portman’s portrayal of “Evey”, the lead female character. Her performance is one dimensional and riddled with a terrible English accent....

It was reported a few days ago that Warner Bros. was thinking of doing a complete overhaul on Superman: The Man of Steel, completely redoing the franchise. Today, the Wall Street Journal has confirmed from Warner Bros. Pictures Group president Jeff Robinov that this is exactly the path they are taking, which could be in the vein of The Incredible Hulk that essentially ignored Ang Lee’s 2003 film Hulk.
