Tom Cruise is headed to the 2022 Cannes Film Festival with his long-delayed blockbuster Top Gun: Maverick. The hotly anticipated sequel to Tony Scott’s 1986 action epic, Top Gun, will mark Tom Cruise’s first film to screen at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in three decades. The last film to do so was Ron Howard’s 1992 film Far and Away, starring Cruise and Nicole Kidman. Rumors of Top Gun: Maverick’s Cannes premiere had been circulating for the past month, and The Hollywood Reporter finally confirmed the news recently....

Netflix, Inc. and Fox Television Studios today announced Season 3 of fan favorite The Killing, which premieres on AMC in 2013, will be available exclusively for streaming members after its airing in the U.S. In the U.S. and Canada, the deal brings Season 3 to Netflix members three months after the season finale airs on AMC. The deal makes Netflix the exclusive subscription television service for The Killing Season 3....

One of the most critically-acclaimed video game series of all time, The Last of Us, is set to become an HBO series under the auspices of producer Craig Mazin and franchise creator Neil Druckmann. In an interview with BBC Radio 5, Mazin assured fans that the series will honor the lore of the games instead of attempting to reconfigure them. Rob Cohen has written an update about his forthcoming sequel The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. On his own personal blog, he states: Tomorrow begins the big ten-day countdown to finishing the first half of the shoot, our sojourn here in Montreal. We then move to the desert north of Beijing to shoot the epic ending battle where the Terracotta Army takes the field once more.
