Last week, we showed you the first look at rogue S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Akela Amador (Pascale Armand) in the upcoming “Eye Spy” episode of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., airing Tuesday, October 15. Today, we have an extended clip from “Eye Spy”, which shows Amador subduing a group of masked criminals and disappearing with their stolen diamonds. This mysterious agent also has a secret connection to Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg). Was she in “magical” Tahiti during his recovery period?...

AMC announced today the renewal of The Killing for a 13-episode second season. From writer, executive producer and series showrunner Veena Cabreros Sud (Cold Case), season one premiered on Sunday, April 3 to 2.7 million total viewers. The series currently reigns as the second highest premiere season for an original drama in AMC history. The Killing is based on the successful Danish television series Forbrydelsen and is produced by Fox Television Studios and executive produced by Mikkel Bondesen (Burn Notice) for Fuse Entertainment....

King of Queens fans can now get all their laughs in one place. In a story from DVD Times, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has picked November 6 to bring out The King of Queens: The Complete Series. Synopsis: Taking place in Rego Park, Queens, New York, a blue-collar married couple, Doug, a deliveryman, and Carrie, a secretary at a law firm, who both live with Carrie’s oddball father, Arthur, try to make the best of what they got while trying to make their marriage somewhat normal and getting through tiny problems that they have together, even the occasional run-in with Carrie’s father....

The reviews for the highly anticipated sci-fi action sequel The Matrix Resurrections are now in, so does this return to the iconic franchise reignite the legacy of the beloved original, or is it a sense of lesser sequel déjà vu? Well, a bit of both, it seems. While some critics found a whole lot to love about The Matrix Resurrections, others were not so keen, resulting in a somewhat divisive response to the further adventures of Neo (Keanu Reeves) and Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss)....

The Muppets, which made over $160 million worldwide last November, brought some of Jim Henson’s most popular characters back into the spotlight after a long hiatus from theater screens, and it was a big enough hit that Walt Disney Pictures wants a sequel. An Irish-themed episode of The Simpsons will premiere Tuesday in Ireland and the U.K. This marks the first time the show has ever premiered an episode outside of the U.S., according to Variety. The Simpsons exec producers James L. Brooks and Al Jean, as well as the voice of Bart, Nancy Cartwright, will be in Dublin to show the episode, which revolves around Homer and his dad as they travel to Ireland and open a pub....

Though Stephen King’s status as today’s undisputed Master of Horror has never wavered, film adaptations based on the bestselling author’s novels were hit and miss in the 1990s and early 2000s. Still, we’ve recently entered into a bona fide Stephen King Renaissance, ignited (at least in part) by The Duffer Brother’s nostalgia-soaked horror/sci-fi series Stranger Things, which took binge-watchers by storm when it debuted on Netflix in 2016. The following year saw feature film adaptations of 1922, Gerald’s Game, and a reimagining of IT (which had previously been turned into a made-for-TV miniseries in 1990)....
