Ahead of its eighth season on The CW, The Flash has lost two more original cast members who’d been with the superhero series since season 1. Tom Cavanagh and Carlos Valdes, who respectively played Eobard Thawne/Reverse-Flash and Cisco Ramon, are officially out after seven seasons. The news was announced on Tuesday by The Flash executive producer/showrunner Eric Wallace. Reportedly, Cavanagh was originally intended to end his run as a series regular at the end of season 6....

DC FanDome unveiled an electrifying first look at upcoming outing, The Flash, revealing several tantalising details including a glimpse at Michael Keaton’s return as Batman. Director Andy Muschietti though has since revealed that there are still many more surprises to come, declaring that they will blow fans socks off. The recent footage has confirmed several aspects of The Flash, including that it will be a loose adaptation of the comic book arc “Flashpoint” and introduce the world of DC movie to the multiverse....

Hulu announced on Tuesday that The Great will return for a third season. The show’s 2nd season aired on November 19th, 2021, on Hulu with all 10 episodes. Being one of the website’s top-performing original comedies, this is no surprise at all. Elle Fanning and Nicholas Hoult will return as Catherine the Great and Emperor Peter III, respectively. Their supporting court and fellow helpers are Phoebe Fox, Adam Godley, Gwilym Lee, Charity Wakefield, Douglas Hodge, Sacha Dhawan, Bayo Gbadamosi, and Belinda Bromilow will return as well as series regulars....

The Hangover Part II debuted last night to the tune of $10.4 million, making it the largest midnight opening of any movie thus far this year, and the biggest R rated midnight opening in history. Of course there is going to be another sequel. Director and co-writer Todd Phillips has already stated that a story for The Hangover Part III is in the works. And while The Hangover Part II sticks close to the formula set up in the original, this last chapter, in what will be a trilogy, is going to deviate from the path laid out before it by the first two entries in the franchise....

The Good An interesting animated film from one of our most interesting directors. The Bad I just thought this animated film would have better extras.The Haunted World of El Superbeasto is an animated action tale that only director/co-writer Rob Zombie could conceive. This film follows its hero, Beasto, as he defends the world against Nazis, a stripper called Velvet Von Black and the evil Dr. Satan. As you can guess, mucho carnage ensues as this tale of a heroic luche wrestler unfolds....

Dan Levy is one of the most highly sought-after actors working in comedy today. Coming off the massive success of Schitt’s Creek, the actor has appeared in Happiest Season, a romantic comedy starring Kristen Stewart, and Netflix’s Q-Force, a series about a handsome secret agent and his team of LGBTQ super-spies. In 2021, Levy hosted Saturday Night Live, which garnered a Primetime Emmy nomination for his performance. Throughout the run of Schitt’s Creek, Levy, who played David Rose, received five Emmy nominations and won four of them, including Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series, Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series, Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series, and Outstanding Comedy Series....

The Wrap is reporting that the 1978 cult-classic horror movie The Swarm will be remade by producers Roy Lee (The Ring) and Steven Schneider (Paranormal Activity). Although a screenwriter hasn’t been attached yet, commercial director Ash Bolland is signed to the project, making his feature directorial debut. It wasn’t clear if this remake will be based on Arthur Herzog’s book that the original was based on, or if they are going in another direction....

The Walking Dead Season 2 recently started production on June 6, with a premiere date set for sometime this October on AMC. Robert Kirkman, who created the comic book series this popular TV show is based on, recently spoke about what will be different in Season 2. While they are still shooting the series in the Atlanta area, it seems Season 2 will also focus on more rural areas. Here’s what Robert Kirkman had to say below....

Since The Witcher premiered on Netflix in 2019, it has amassed quite a large following. The film industry is in a constant flow of changing numbers and releases that we, as movie lovers, have to keep an eye on. Although the audience might not be as interested in earnings and ticket sales as the studio executives, it’s always mind-blowing to see just how many people around the globe pay to see the same films that you do. More than that, box office numbers indicate to studios which movies do well and which don’t, influencing top-down decisions about future projects they might invest in....

This article obviously contains spoilers for different character deaths.So your hero or heroine has made it through to the end. Better yet, their story is continued in the sequel. And then, like that, they’re killed off before your very eyes. While not entirely common, it’s not totally out of place, with the horror genre (and its many sequels to flagship originals) especially prepared to kill off their main characters for a nostalgic boost mixed with an opportunity to move on with the story....

Thor: Love and Thunder arrives in cinemas in just over a week, bringing with it some of the craziest things seen so far in the MCU. Among those things are two mythical goats by the names of Toothgnasher and Toothgrinder, characters that according to Chris Pratt, only exist in the film thanks to a prank between directors Taika Waititi and James Gunn. While Taika Waititi has professed on a number of occasions that he pushed the envelope so far on Thor: Love and Thunder that he wouldn’t be surprised if it ended his career....

The Good This is a great show that ends very sadly. The Bad I wish there had been commentary tracks and more extras. I am very happy that I finally got sent a season of Three’s Company to review. The fact that it was the last season makes it all the more bittersweet, simply because of how I feel about this show. In my opinion, the writing was so good that they could lose characters like the Ropers, Chrissy and Cindy, and that had no effect on the show whatsoever....

Almost exactly one year after the iconic Haunted Elevator Saturday Night Live sketch introduced the world to Tom Hanks’ delightfully weird character David S. Pumpkins, NBC has released a trailer for The David S. Pumpkins Halloween Special. The half-hour special will debut Saturday, October 28 at 11:30 PM, in lieu of a new episode of SNL, followed by SNL Presents: Halloween at 12 AM. SNL will get back to its regular programming next week with a new episode hosted by Larry David with musical guest Miley Cyrus, but this year, the sketch comedy series celebrates Halloween by bringing back one of its most surprisingly memorable characters in recent years, David S....

Imagine entering a martial arts tournament assuming you’ll be fighting a stranger named Edward Hardy just to realize once on the mat that it’s acclaimed actor and Venom star Tom Hardy? That was the case for some fighters over the weekend when Hardy made a surprise entrance into the 2022 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Open Championship tournament held at a high school gym in Milton Keyes, England. Because Hardy had entered using his real name (Tom comes from his middle name, Thomas), the competitors and spectators alike were all surprised when the actor, who had played an MMA fighter in the 2011 movie Warrior, was the person who showed up....

Because the announcement that Bruce Willis was stepping away from acting came about as a surprise, the filmmakers who had worked with him on his final films had no idea at the time they were a part of the veteran actor’s curtain call. It’s a bit surreal for director Jared Cohn, who worked with Willis on the new Redbox film Vendetta.
