If you were wondering where the ghost stories were when the new Unsolved Mysteries debuted on Netflix, you might be happy to know that they are on the way. As Netflix only debuted the first six of twelve episodes to be featured in the revival’s first season when it premiered earlier this month, only six mysteries have been explored so far. Five specifically focus on true crime mysteries, while another dabbled into the paranormal with a bizarre story about multiple sightings of an alleged UFO....

USA Network will present six original series this summer, more than any other cable network has ever offered during that period, establishing an industry record. The line-up includes returning hit series, a six-hour television event and the launch of a new original series. “With Starter Wife and Burn Notice joining our hits Monk, Psych, The 4400, The Dead Zone and WWE Raw, we’re looking at about 100 hours of original content,” said Bonnie Hammer, president, USA Network and SCI FI Channel....

AMC’s The Walking Dead continues its Season 8 run, with next week’s episode Some Guy representing the one-quarter mark of the season. Executive producer/director/makeup effects supervisor Greg Nicotero clued fans in on an amazing Easter Egg many missed this past Sunday. The makeup effects wizard sent out a photo on Instagram that featured one of the walkers from the October 29 episode, Monsters, which was an homage to a character named Emil from the 1987 action classic RoboCop....

The Walking Dead will return for the second half of season seven on Sunday, February 12 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT, as announced during last night’s Talking Dead following The Walking Dead mid-season finale. The second half will consist of eight episodes. The Walking Dead, which remains the number one show on television for a fifth consecutive season, is executive produced by showrunner Scott M. Gimple, Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero, Dave Alpert and Tom Luse....

We have the first trailer for Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy - Earthrise. This is the second chapter in the trilogy, which kicked off over the summer with Siege. It sort of functioned like a movie, with its short run of six episodes that were a little less than a half-hour each. HBO has officially announced that Westworld Season 3 is happening, after only two episodes of the highly anticipated second season have aired. However, it is unclear how long series creators Jonathon Nolan and Lisa Joy will take to prepare the third season. Nolan and Joy notoriously took their time crafting the second season, resulting in a later premiere than expected, which led to some very impatient fans. But, fans should be excited that there will be more to look forward to in Westworld Season 3....

All Out War has officially taken over The Walking Dead. The hit AMC series finally returned for season 8 this weekend and the big battle between Rick and Negan is underway. The Walking Dead season 8 premiere left fans with a lot of questions, but there’s one particular question that seems to really be eating away at people: Why didn’t Rick shoot Negan when he had the chance? Turns out, there’s a pretty logical reason for it....

Director Peter Jackson is in the midst of production on The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and The Hobbit: There and Back Again in New Zealand. According to actress Evangeline Lilly, who plays Tauriel in both adventures, the back-to-back shoot will take two years to complete. She also spoke more about her character Tauriel, a Mirkwood elf who appears to be quite dangerous. “I still have to go back for five more months of filming....

HBO recently gave us a behind-the-scenes peek of The Last of Us, with the actors and directors talking about the upcoming series based on the video game of the same name. Bella Ramsey, who plays a young survivor called Ellie, reveals that she was advised not to play the game so that she would have a fresh take on the character - however, she did not comply and watched some of the gameplay anyway....

It’s official: Butch Patrick will appear in Rob Zombie’s new take on The Munsters. In the original sitcom, Patrick, a former child star, played little Eddie Munster. There were rumors he’d be involved with Zombie’s reboot, and the news has been confirmed by Zombie with a new post on Instagram. Zombie reveals that Patrick will play Tin Can Man, another character who was featured in the sitcom. Also unveiled is a first look at the new Tin Can Man, which you can see below....

ATO Pictures has released the first trailer for The Oranges, a new family comedy from director Julian Farino. Leighton Meester stars as Nina Ostroff, who turns their suburban neighborhood upside down when she falls for her parents’ best friend, David Walling (Hugh Laurie). Take a look at the first footage from this comedy, also starring Catherine Keener, Allison Janney, Oliver Platt, and Adam Brody. David and Paige Walling (Hugh Laurie, Catherine Keener) and Terry and Cathy Ostroff (Oliver Platt, Allison Janney) are best friends and neighbors living on Orange Drive in suburban New Jersey....

The Walt Disney movie The Sorcerer’s Apprentice will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on November 30. The CW’s Arrowverse crossover event Crisis on Infinite Earths is shaping up to be the Avengers: Endgame of live-action DC comic characters. The Twilight Saga: New Moon opens at midnight one week from tonight, but the film has already outsold its predecessor, Twilight, in total advance ticket sales on Fandango, the nation’s leading movie ticketing destination. The new movie currently represents 75% of the site’s ticket sales. Although thousands of next Thursday night’s midnight showtimes are sold-out across the country (from Anchorage, Alaska to Winter Park, Florida), tickets are still available, while new showtimes are added regularly to keep up with the demand....

The Weinstein Company and IFC Entertainment have co-acquired all North American rights to the controversial drama Out of the Blue which will be released though IFC’s First Take day and date banner and hit theatres simultaneously with VOD. The Weinstein Company will be releasing the film on DVD through Genius Products, LLC. The joint announcement was made by Michelle Krumm, Executive Vice President of Acquisitions for The Weinstein Company and Jonathan Sehring, IFC Entertainment President....

Casting is starting to heat up on director James Mangold’s superhero sequel The Wolverine. We reported last week that Will Yun Lee and Brian Tee have signed on to play villains The Silver Samurai and Noboru Mori. Today we have word that Total Recall star Jessica Biel has been offered The Viper role in this superhero sequel. The character has an intriguing past history with the title character in Marvel’s comic book series....

The sole surviving actor from the 1951 classic talks about his experiences on the film Theodore Bikel is just as well-known on the silver screen as he is on the stage. The actor has appeared in over 150 films, an Oscar nomination for role in The Defiant Ones and has a legendary run of over 2,000 performances as Teyve in the long-running play Fiddler on the Roof. The 85-year-old Austrian-born actor also made his feature film debut in the screen classic The African Queen, which finally makes its debut on both DVD and Blu-ray today, March 23....
