There are certain actors who come with a reputation for being difficult on set. If you were to compile a list of stars who have at one time or another been reportedly obstructive, demanding or just plain hard to get along with on set, it would take quite some time to get through if every story was to be believed. Sitting up there with the likes of Crispin Glover, Charlie Sheen and Ed Norton, it has been claimed many times that Marlon Brando was another notoriously difficult actor to work with....

You can bring home an 80s classic on DVD and Blu-ray in time for its 25th Anniversary this November. The Goonies will be re-released in a special 25th Anniversary Edition on DVD and Blu-ray on November 2. The standard DVD will be priced at $39.92 SRP, the BD will be priced at $49.99 SRP and this collector’s set will include such items as a new board game, collectible storyboard prints, a 1985 souvenir magazine with behind-the-scenes stories about the actual filming in Astoria, Oregon, including the production design that transformed Astoria into the “Goon Docks,” and a reprint of a 2009 article with updates of the entire cast, as well as producer Steven Spielberg and director Richard Donner....

Just last week, Warner Bros. moved one of its anticipated new comic book adaptations to a summer release date… and now it’s moving back to April. eRc Box Office is reporting that Warner Bros. has moved The Losers from its June 4 release date to April 23. The Sylvain White film was previously set for release on April 9, but was moved to make way for Warner Bros. 3D epic Clash of the Titans, which was moved to an April 2 release....

Starz announced today that the limited series, The Missing, will debut Saturday, November 15th at 9pm ET/PT on STARZ. The eight-episode dramatic thriller, directed by Tom Shankland (Ripper Street) and written by Harry Williams and Jack Williams, centers on the psychological fallout and ensuing years-long manhunt resulting from the sudden disappearance of five-year-old Oliver Hughes while on holiday with his parents in France in 2006. The Missing is a gripping dramatic thriller that goes inside the mind of a father, Tony Hughes, played by James Nesbitt (The Hobbit trilogy), desperate to locate his lost son....

The latest character unveiling for The Munsters has just arrived. There had been rumors that Sylvester McCoy, aka the Seventh Doctor, was a part of the cast, but it wasn’t until now that his role was revealed. Posting an image of McCoy in character on Instagram, Zombie says the actor is playing Igor, the loyal servant of the Munster family. You can see the photo below. In the caption, Zombie writes, “I am very excited to bring you all this exclusive shot direct from the set of The Munsters and announce the casting of SYLVESTER McCOY as IGOR, the loyal servant to the Munsters....

Anthony Bregman of Likely Story and Leslie Urdang and Dean Vanech of Olympus Pictures announced today that casting is complete on the upcoming dark comedy The Oranges. Hugh Laurie, Catherine Keener, Leighton Meester, Allison Janney, Oliver Platt, Alia Shawkat, Adam Brody and Sam Rosen are set to star in the film, currently being shot in New York. The Oranges will be directed by Julian Farino, with a script written by Jay Reiss and Ian Helfer....

Seth MacFarlane has had a ton of success on TV over the years with shows like Family Guy and American Dad, but he hasn’t done a ton of live-action TV. That is about to change as Fox has gone all in on his upcoming sci-fi comedy series The Orville. Now, straight from San Diego Comic-Con, we have a brand new trailer for The Orville season 1, which really plays up the Star Trek parody angle....

The Proud Family is back and better than ever! Earlier this year, Disney+ announced that The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder is coming back for a second season. Not only will the original cast return to reprise their roles, but season 2 will involve some new faces played by special guests! The new season will feature a wide range of stars. Musically focused guests will be Normani, Chance the Rapper, Leslie Odom Jr....

Production is currently underway for The Punisher Season 2 and a new set video features Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle dashing into action. It’s been a little while since we’ve seen an update from the set of Netflix’s massively popular The Punisher, other than recent casting news. It was announced just a few weeks after the debut of The Punisher Season 1 that a new season had been officially confirmed by Netflix, but we have yet to receive an official premiere date, leading many to believe that it will be a surprise....

In 2017, an unassuming Korean movie titled The Outlaws was released starring Ma Dong-seok, fresh off of his appearance in the smash hit Train to Busan with Gong Yoo and Choi Woo-sik and, more recently, Eternals, and Yoon Kye-Sang (Chocolate, The Bacchus Lady). The Outlaws tracked the progress of a turf war between a local South Korean gang and a transnational Chinese gang. So begins a game of cat and mouse between the Chinese gang’s ruthless leader, Jang Chen (Yoon), and a local detective (Ma) attempting to keep the peace....

According to series composer Danny Elfman, The Simpsons is fast approaching its endgame. Ever since 1989, the hit animated series has been airing on the Fox network and the character have since established themselves as America’s favorite animated family. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, and if Danny Elfman is correct, that particular time for the long-running show now seems to be in sight. Here’s what Elfman said in an interview with Joe when asked about when The Simpsons may come to an end, adressing the arguement that the show is well past its prime at this point....

American author Audrey Niffenegger catapulted to bestselling fame when her debut novel, The Time Traveler’s Wife, hit the publishing market in 2003. A science fiction romance book, it was originally published by an indie press and then reached mainstream appeal after being featured on The Today Show. By 2009, the book would sell over two million copies in just the United Kingdom and the United States alone, establishing Niffenegger as an author to watch out for in the future....

It has now been reported that the second season of The Witcher will begin filming again in the first week of August. The Witcher was such a massive success for streaming service Netflix that a second season was quickly announced and put into production. So confident was Netflix in fact, that the second season of the hit fantasy show was given the go-ahead shortly before the first season had even been released....

Producer/director Tim Burton will reunite with his Ed Wood screenwriters Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski for his upcoming film The Addams Family, according to Deadline New York. Alexander and Karaszewski will write the film that Burton will direct, with Christopher Meledandri producing alongside Burton. At the same time, when Burton was discussing The Addams Family with Alexander and Karaszewski, they brought up their own new film project Big Eyes, a biopic on artist Margaret Keane, and Burton agreed to come onto that film as a producer....

Tom Hardy has been set to star in an upcoming BBC One mini-series entitled Taboo. Steven Knight is writing the project with Ridley Scott’s Scott Free Productions producing. The series is set in 1813 and follows rogue adventurer James Keziah Delaney (Tom Hardy). He returns from a trip to Africa with 14 ill-gotten diamonds and seeks to avenge his father’s death. Refusing to part with the family business to the East India Company, he prepares to build his own trade empire and plays a dangerous game with Britain and America....

So many movies are preoccupied with loneliness. It’s something we’ve all experienced, whether we’re constantly surrounded by others or spend our time alone. The universality of this feeling means it crops up time and time again — across genres, languages, and locations. Paramount Pictures’ upcoming sequel to the iconic 80s action flick Top Gun, Top Gun: Maverick, has now been delayed so many times that you would be forgiven for completely forgetting it even exists. Well, a detail that’s sure to jog your memory and ink Top Gun: Maverick onto your calendar is that the long-awaited sequel features the return of Val Kilmer as fan-favorite fighter pilot om “Iceman” Kazansky. Speaking with Total Film, director Joe Kosinski discussed bringing the actor back, and cannot wait for audiences to finally see Kilmer reunite with Tom Cruise....

A trailer and poster for My Best Friend’s Exorcism have been released ahead of its release next month. In the words of director Damon Thomas, the film focuses on two best friends — Abby (Elsie Fisher) and Gretchen (Amiah Miller). One night, at a friend’s parents’ cabin, something bad happens, and from then on, Gretchen starts to act strangely — for reasons that you might be able to guess by looking at the film’s title....

Continuing one of the most remarkable collaborations in entertainment, Lionsgate, a leading global entertainment company, and media superstar Tyler Perry announced today that their first look partnership will be extended through a new multi-year arrangement for films and home entertainment. Lionsgate has been the iconic filmmaker’s home since his breakthrough theatrical box office hit Diary of a Mad Black Woman revolutionized the film world in February 2005. Lionsgate will continue to distribute Tyler Perry’s films and is already slated to release Madea’s Big Happy Family on April 22, 2011 and the upcoming Tyler Perry produced We the Peeples....

Two Greek epic films are set to square off and they’re both close to securing their leads as well. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Henry Cavil is in talks for the lead in War of the Gods and Sam Worthington is in negotiations for the Clash of the Titans lead. Both films are set in Greece, with War of the Gods revolving around the struggles of kings and warriors and Clash of the Titans, a live-action remake of the 1981 classic, centers on Perseus trying to save a princess from Greek villains such as Medusa....
