Mark Millar, who was the mind behind the comic book source for Wanted, says that a sequel is already in the works. Millar wrote on his forum that the film doesn’t differ from the comic as much as people might expect, and that they are already planning the sequel. Millar wrote: And you’ll be surprised how much we kept when you re-read the comic. The first half is very close (especially the training sequences, where they really did a great job, especially in that butcher’s lot)....
