The Netflix original series Marvel’s The Punisher has announced three new cast members who will be joining Jon Bernthal (Frank Castle/The Punisher) in the series. Marvel’s The Punisher will be streaming globally on Netflix in 2017. Ben Barnes (The Chronicles of Narnia) joins the cast as Billy Russo, Frank’s Castle’s best friend from his days in the Special Forces. He runs a successful private military corporation called “Anvil.” Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Girls) will play Micro, a former NSA analyst whose secrets may be of great value to Frank Castle and everyone around them....

Disney Pixar has released the first photo from Toy Story: Small Fry, a new animated short which will be attached to prints of The Muppets hitting theaters November 23. USA Network has finally given us a glimpse of the upcoming Jason Bourne spinoff series, Treadstone in the new official trailer. The series comes to us from Heroes creator Tim Kring with Jeremy Irvine (War Horse, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again) and Brian J. Smith (Sense8, World on Fire) as its leads. The series, which has gotten a full season order, follows “unstoppable superhuman assassins” of the “Cicada” arm of the shut-down Treadstone program....
During the first theater shutdowns of the Covid pandemic, Universal made the decision to put out Trolls World Tour as a PVOD title and kick started the wave of Day and Date releases of the last 18 months. While the movie made $100 million, it was nowhere near the $350 million gross of the first Trolls outing but was more than enough, in the circumstances, for Universal to reveal that a third movie featuring the bright-haired characters is coming exclusively to cinemas on November 17th, 2023....
Following Anthony Mackie’s casting as John Doe in the Peacock TV series based on the Twisted Metal video games, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Encanto star Stephanie Beatriz has joined the project in the role of Quiet, a “ferocious, badass car thief who acts purely on instinct.” While there is still a lot unknown about the new series, filming is expected to take place soon as Mackie alluded to in a previous interview, with the series expected to air sometime next year....
