Twilight star Rachelle Lefevre has joined the growing cast of the new CBS series Under the Dome. The story takes place in the sleepy town of Chester Mill, Maine, which inexplicably becomes sealed off from the rest of the world by a gigantic dome. The actress is said to be playing an “investigative reporter,” and, while the character’s identity was not given, it is believed she will play Julia Shumway, the owner and editor of Chester Mill’s newspaper The Democrat....

The Hollywood community is in mourning once again, as another beloved actor has died. Van Williams, who portrayed the title character in the 1960s TV series The Green Hornet, passed away last Monday, November 28, at the age of 82. The actor’s death was due to kidney failure. Here’s what his wife of 57 years, Vicki Williams, had to say in a statement about her husband’s passing. Variety first reported on the actor’s death earlier today....

While Victor Dorobantu might play a disembodied hand in Netflix’s Wednesday, the real-life magician behind the beloved character, Thing, has a lot to say. Gushing to Vanity Fair about the chance to play the “big personality in a small hand,” the 25-year-old from Romania recounted auditioning for the scarily popular Netflix series and meeting Tim Burton. Though the self-proclaimed lifelong Addams Family fan says that he felt an instant connection with Burton, who served as executive director on Wednesday, the legendary director kept one secret from him (as any good magician should)....

After last night’s episode of The Walking Dead, AMC debuted a new clip from next week’s episode Swear, which debuts Sunday, November 27 at 9 PM ET. We also have a new preview that teases “the weeks ahead,” which shows footage from the next three episodes from the first half of this season. After Swear airs on the network, Sing Me a Song debuts Sunday, December 4 with the midseason finale, Exodus, arriving on Sunday, December 11....

Warner Bros. has acquired feature rights to Brad Thor’s Scot Harvath thriller novels, which center on a field agent who’s a former Navy SEAL involved in counterterrorism ops in the world of underground intelligence, and plans to develop into an action-thriller franchise. According to Variety, producer Bill Gerber plans to develop The Lions of Lucerne first, as an “origins” story. “We think that this could become something like the Jason Bourne franchise,” he added....

The Orphanage, presented by Oscar-Nominee Guillermo del Toro, centers on a Laura (Belén Rueda from The Sea Inside) who purchases her beloved childhood orphanage with dreams of restoring and reopening the long abandoned facility as a place for disabled children. Once there, Laura discovers that the new environment awakens her son’s imagination, but the ongoing fantasy games he plays with an invisible friend quickly turn into something more disturbing....

20th Century Fox has finally released the first theatrical trailer for Baz Luhrmann’s upcoming epic, Australia. The film stars Nicole Kidman, Hugh Jackman, David Wenham, Jack Thompson and Bryan Brown. Check out the first trailer below. A romantic action-adventure set in northern Australia prior to World War II, Australia centers on an English aristocrat (Kidman) who inherits a ranch the size of Maryland. When English cattle barons plot to take her land, she reluctantly joins forces with a rough-hewn cattle driver (Jackman) to drive 2000 head of cattle across hundreds of miles of the country’s most unforgiving land, only to still face the bombing of Darwin, Australia by the Japanese forces that had attacked Pearl Harbor only months earlier....

There are a lot of expectations on any MCU TV show to have some tie to the greater Marvel Cinematic Universe, and it seems like Werewolf by Night will pull from the existing MCU canon, but fans should not perhaps expect too many direct links to other Marvel projects for now. Like Moon Knight before it, Werewolf by Night takes a step into the darker side of Marvel Comics, and this time around they aren’t messing around with an all out homage to classic 40s horror movies, that will enhance and expand the MCU once more....

You can bring home all the high-octane action of a popular franchise home in 1080p this March. The Fast and the Furious Trilogy will be released on Blu-ray on March 24th. This six-disc set will include all three films - The Fast and the Furious, 2Fast 2Furious and The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift - as well as a Digital Copy of each film and movie cash of $7.50 towards a ticket to the fourth installment, Fast & Furious, which hits theaters April 3....

Now, that all changes as Nick Nolte officially joins the Star Wars universe as a cast member in the upcoming live-action TV series The Mandalorian. The Korean version of Priyanka Chopra’s character poster for The Matrix Resurrections has seemingly revealed the identity of her mysterious character, with the text carrying the name ‘Sati’. Until now, we had been left none-the-wiser with regards to the role that Chopra would portray when we return to the world of The Matrix, with this recent revelation perhaps offering several clues as to the direction of the upcoming sequel. The translation of the caption alongside the poster mentions the character’s name as ‘Sati’ in the hashtag, with the text reading, “#Satiㅣ#Priyanka Chopra Foretelling the root of action!...

The Office is an American mockumentary sitcom based on the British series of the same name that was created by and stars Ricky Gervais. This remake was developed by Greg Daniels, and over the course of its nine seasons depicts the day-to-day lives of the employees of a fictional paper and office supply sales company in Scranton, Pennsylvania, headed by their offbeat regional manager Michael Scott (brilliantly portrayed by Steve Carell)....

Robert Pattinson is playing a rookie Dark Knight in The Batman with Paul Dano’s Riddler serving as his biggest threat yet. In the film, which comes from director Matt Reeves and is set in a standalone universe, Batman and the rest of Gotham are terrorized by a masked serial killer. Known only as the Riddler, the mysterious man intentionally leaves behind clues and puzzles at the scenes of his killings to further torment Batman, a superhero who’s supposed to be the “world’s greatest detective....

Still to this day, The Shining is thought of as one of the most spine-chilling horror movies within the past several decades. Its premise paints a creepy scene of a family cloistered in a shadow-filled hotel as torrential snow collects outside. Besides its horrifying internal centering around familial trauma, the other more external and ethereal elements following the Torrance family help to drive home its dreary messages. While the movie is one of the most powerful interpretations of author Stephen King’s heap of horror stories, the film’s internal fundamentals contain even darker goings-on than audiences might realize at first....

If there’s one thing The Terminal List has become notorious for, as outlined by LAD Bible, it’s the level of division between regular viewers and critics on the quality of the show. While fans have praised the series for everything from accuracy to performances, critics have torn the show apart, calling it a bland and boring rehash of what’s been done before. This massive division between critics and viewers leaves us all scratching our heads wondering who is right, with Jack Carr stating, per Giant Freakin Robot, that the show “triggers” critics in some way....

After just one full day out in theaters, an incredibly popular vampire sequel has broken the latest of three records already. Deadline Hollywood is reporting that The Twilight Saga: Eclipse took in an estimated $68.5 million on Wednesday, which breaks the mark for largest Wednesday opening day. The film broke the Wednesday record set last year by Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, which opened at $62 million almost exactly a year ago....

When X-Men kicked off the 21st century’s craze toward superhero popularity in 2000, hardly anybody could have expected that comic books would create a multi-billion dollar movie industry. The 21st century Spider-Man movie franchise began with Sam Raimi’s trilogy starting in 2002, and has since produced nine films across different series, with the character appearing in Avengers and Captain America movies along the way. There’s obviously a massive appeal here, considering Spider-Man: No Way Home is set to overtake Avatar’s domestic record at the box office, and an uproar was created after the film was largely snubbed at the Oscars....
