It seems a classic 60s TV show is nearly ready to be remade. According to MTV Movies Blog, the Wayans are finishing up the third draft of their script for a remake of The Munsters. “I’m almost ready. It’s almost ready to be shot,” Shawn Wayans said. “We had to finish this movie and now we’re going through our third polish on The Munsters.” Wayans also said that he and his brother Marlon will not be acting in the film and that this will be a modern-day reboot of the classic characters....

Trouble may be brewing for at least one of the Marvel animated shows being produced for Hulu. USA Network is heading to the Hamptons for its new comedy series. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the USA Network has given a series commitment to the new series, Royal Pains. The network has ordered 11 additional episodes, along with the two-hour pilot, for this series which revolves around an on-call doctor (Mark Feuerstein) who treats the upscale patients in the Hamptons area. “Royal Pains is our first doctor show,” said Jeff Wachtel, executive vp original programming at USA ....
