Back in 2020 it was announced that 90s cartoon series Tiny Toon Adventures would be making a comeback, with a two series order right out the traps. Under the new title of Tiny Toons Looniversity, there was speculation about how the returning franchise would look and if it would be a faithful follow-up or go the way of many recent reboots with a completely different style. Thanks to new concept art revealed during San Diego Comic-Con, fans will be happy to know that virtually all of the beloved Tiny Toon characters will be back in the series and look almost exactly as we remember them....

TNT has ordered a second season of its powerful crime drama Murder in the First, starring Taye Diggs (Private Practice) and Kathleen Robertson (Boss). The series, which is executive produced by Emmy winner Steven Bochco (NYPD Blue) and Eric Lodal, ranked as one of basic cable’s Top 10 series of the summer. TNT has ordered 10 episodes for the second season. Over the summer, Murder in the First took viewers deep inside a complex homicide investigation that spanned the entire season....

Paramount Pictures has just dropped a new trailer for the anticipated sequel Top Gun: Maverick. Bringing back Tom Cruise for a new adventure in the skies more than three and a half decades later, the sequel has been hit with multiple release date delays because of the pandemic. It is now set for a theatrical release on May 27, and to get your new look at the film, you can check out the trailer below....

The Trailer Park Boys will return at the start of the new year with a new spinoff series, but don’t expect to find it on Netflix. This week on SwearNet, the official internet home for the series, the team revealed with a “State of the Union” video that they’ll soon be launching the official SwearNet app. They also announce that the app will stream the episodes featured in Trailer Park Boys: Jail, although it may feel a bit different in tone as it takes Ricky, Julian, and Bubbles out of the trailer park and putting them behind bars....

The upcoming Transformers sequel-slash-prequel, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, has added Everything Everywhere All at Once star Michelle Yeoh and SNL alumni Pete Davidson to its roster. Journalist Michael Finkel (Jonah Hill) meets the accused killer, Christian Longo (James Franco) in the first clip from True Story, arriving in theaters April 17 from Fox Searchlight Pictures. While any meeting between a journalist and an accused killer would probably be rather tense, it is even more warranted in this clip, since Finkel is meeting the man who literally stole his identity, which he used while he was living outside of the U....

Uncharted is still king of the box office. After debuting in the No. 1 spot at the domestic box office last week, the film has maintained its spot at the top of the list for this weekend as well. The Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg vehicle pulled in $23.3 million to bring its total U.S. haul up to $83.4 million. Based on the popular video game series of the same name, Uncharted was expected to be a hit with Spider-Man star Tom Holland in the lead, and Sony has been pleased with its financial success....

Justified star Walton Goggins is making a pit stop at Greendale Community College before returning to Harlan County, signing on for a guest starring role in Season 5 of Community. The actor will portray a character named Mr. Stone in one episode, who has a mysterious offer for the Greendale study group that will change their lives forever. Walton Goggins will shoot the episode next week, but, since Season 5 doesn’t have a premiere date slated yet, it isn’t known or when it may air....

The CW announced early pickups of six series today, including the network’s signature reality hit, America’s Next Top Model, four dramas and one comedy. All six series will return for the fall season. The network’s most popular series, America’s Next Top Model will return with mega-star Tyra Banks for cycles 11 and 12. Returning dramas include the buzz-worthy freshman hit Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill, returning for a sixth season....

Mixed martial artist and action star Randy Couture has praised the new additions to the mercenary team The Expendables in the upcoming sequel, The Expendables 4. In an interview with uInterview, Couture, who will reprise the role of Toll Road the team’s demolitions expert, revealed that there are now only four members of the original Expendables left. Thus, new blood was needed when bringing the gang back for more. The Expendables 4, which will apparently be known as Expend4bles, will once again feature Sylvester Stallone as Barney Ross, Jason Statham as Lee Christmas, and Dolph Lundgren as Gunner Jensen alongside Randy Couture as Toll Road....

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is one of several movies that opened in theaters over the holiday season, and it has earned just over $60 million since its release on December 20. Those numbers aren’t as high as studio execs would have liked, which has lead to speculation that the inevitable sequel, The Girl Who Played with Fire, may not happen. A Sony rep shot down those rumors earlier today, insisting that the sequel is still moving forward....

Starring Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans as warring spies, The Gray Man promises to be a real treat for action movie fans when it lands on Netflix later this month, and star Regé-Jean Page has now arrived to hype up the project even further. The official production notes for The Gray Man have the Bridgerton actor comparing The Gray Man to not one but two action movie icons: James Bond and Jason Bourne....

You can bring finally home the classic spaghetti western trilogy by acclaimed director Sergio Leone on Blu-ray this June. The Man With No Name Trilogy will be released on Blu-ray on June 1.
