The best and most underutilized part of Apple TV+ is its original programming, specifically, its shows. The Umbrella Academy is based on the graphic novel series by Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá. It was developed for television by Steve Blackman and Jeremy Slater. They’re then thrust into an apocalyptic situation that they must work together to defeat – several times over the show’s three seasons, with the most recent season featuring an apocalypse after their time travel creates a rift in the world....

Marvel Studios has released the first poster for the upcoming WandaVision Disney+ series. Out of all of the Marvel Cinematic Universe shows on the way, this is the one that a lot of fans are questioning. A superhero sitcom? While there may be some questions about how that will all play out, there are plenty of comic book fans who are under the impression that the series might be loosely based on Tom King’s The Vision comic book series....

Ezra Miller’s Hollywood career could be in jeopardy after The Flash star’s recent arrest. Last week, Miller was arrested for disorderly conduct and harassment at a karaoke bar in Hilo, Hawaii, after they grabbed the microphone from a 23-year-old woman and later lunged at a 32-year-old man playing darts. Miller was quickly bailed out, but that wasn’t the end of it. Soon after their release, Miller was hit with a restraining order from a local couple that the 29-year-old actor was staying with....

Warner Bros. Pictures has inked a three-year first-look deal with its Get Smart star Steve Carell, with plans to develop a sequel to the summer’s box office hit. According to Variety, Carell has formed Carousel Prods. Vance DeGeneres and Charlie Hartsock will run the shingle, which will take offices on the WB lot. The sequel is not part of the new overall deal, which will allow Carell to cross-pollinate the relationships he’s made over the course of a career that spans Second City, Comedy Central’s The Daily Show, films and NBC sitcom The Office, on which Carell is a producer and writer in addition to starring....

Earlier this month, Starz confirmed they are bringing their hit series Ash Vs. Evil Dead back to Comic-Con, with a panel presentation on Saturday, July 23 from 6:45 PM to 7:45 PM in Room 6A. Stars Bruce Campbell, Lucy Lawless, Dana DeLorenzo, Ray Santiago and Lee Majors will be joined by producers Rob Tapert, Ted Raimi and Sam Raimi for the panel, and there will also be a special screening that night in Room 6A at 10 PM where fans can get an early look at the first Season 2 episode....

The Times of India has revealed more details about filming in India for Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises: “The director will be in Jodhpur to shoot The Dark Knight Rises with none other than Christian Bale. However, no other Hollywood actors from the film will be part of this shooting schedule in India. Incidentally, Christopher Nolan had come down to India in December to scout for locations in Jodhpur. That was when he chose to shoot in Jodhpur’s Mehrangar Fort....

While out promoting that film, she spilled more about her work in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, where she plays new addition to the classic roster of characters Tauriel. Lionsgate, a leading global entertainment company, today announced an exclusive partnership with ABC’s Good Morning America to world premiere the highly anticipated trailer for The Hunger Games. The debut will be hosted in person by actor Josh Hutcherson (The Kids Are All Right), who plays the pivotal character of Peeta Mellark in the film, in the top rated 8:00 hour of the show on Monday, November 14th. In addition to airing nationwide, the trailer will also be shown in its entirety on Good Morning America’s jumbotron in New York City’s Times Square....

Some hugely intriguing new details have now emerged regarding Showtime’s take on the classic sci-fi story, The Man Who Fell to Earth, as Bill Nighy has been cast as Thomas Newton, the character played by David Bowie in the 1967 original. The protagonist of both The Man Who Fell to Earth source novel and the original movie, the series will find Thomas Newton still stranded and turning to Chiwetel Ejiofor, alien newcomer Faraday, for help....
