The daytime TV program The Drew Barrymore Show has secured another year on the air. Per Variety, the show has officially been renewed for a fourth year on CBS stations, guaranteeing that it will be on through the 2023-24 season. It’s noted that ratings for the show have only increased over the past season following a change in format that seems to be working out well, according to CBS Media Ventures president Steve LoCascio.
“This season, The Drew Barrymore Show debuted a new reimagined half-hour format, which has been an undeniable success,” LoCascio said in a statement. “Ratings have grown 70% year to year, and creatively, the show is better than ever. Drew makes news every day with her insightful celebrity interviews and welcoming style. Nobody does it better. We’re thrilled to have her in the CBS family.”

It’s noted in the new report that The Drew Barrymore Show averages around 1.21 million viewers, seeing growth to the tune of a half-million viewers each year. The viewership has shot the series up to the No. 4 talk show on television. It would seem that viewers are really loving this side of Drew Barrymore, who also executive produces with Jason Kurtz and Marianne Schaberg. Ross Mathews also appears as the co-host of the “Drew’s News” segments.
Barrymore has also been garnering some impressive guests for entertaining interviews that she always manages to keep fun, engaging, and interesting.
