Lionsgate has announced the casting of two more tributes in The Hunger Games with Ashton Moio and Kara Petersen portraying the unnamed District 6 tributes. Take a look at these new tributes below.
Both actors have backgrounds in stunt work, with Ashton Moio performing stunts in the upcoming Project X, and Kara Petersen doing stunt work for Super 8. This will be Kara Petersen’s acting debut, although Ashton Moio recently appeared in small roles in Let Me In and the ABC TV series No Ordinary Family.
Gary Ross will direct The Hunger Games from a screenplay by Billy Ray, which is adapted from the novel by Suzanne Collins. The story centers on a nationally-televised competition where teenagers from the 12 districts of America fight to the death. The tributes from Districts 2, 7, 9, and 10 have yet to be cast.
