Clark Thompson (Ben Falcone) is an ordinary man who gets struck by lightning, but survives to tell the tale. However, this encounter gives him the ability to glow. Clark’s girlfriend, Amily Luck (Melissa McCarthy), along with his other coworkers, starts to believe that he was blessed by God. This rumor becomes reality when an angel comes to tell Clark that he is the only one who can stop the apocalypse from happening.

The show’s production is led by Disney+, with Jessica Gao (Rick and Morty, Silicon Valley) as head writer, and directed by Kat Coiro (It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia). The show stars Emmy award-winning actress Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black) as the title character, along with special appearances by many other familiar Hollywood names like Mark Ruffalo and Benedict Wong.
Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) is a lawyer in her thirties who specializes in dealing with cases involving super humans. When a blood transfusion exposes her body to unknown chemicals, Jennifer undergoes a massive transformation, turning into a six-feet, seven-inches tall, green version of herself, every time she gets angry. To make matters worse, she also has a rival with similar strength, called Titania (Jameela Jamil).

In Maldivas, Liz (Bruna Marquezine) is a young woman who moves to Rio de Janeiro to reconcile with her mother, but learns about her sudden death in a mysterious fire. Igniting her thirst for revenge, Liz moves into a posh condo community to find the culprit behind her mother’s death. This turns out to be a difficult task, as the residents of the community are all eccentric and strange people, and to make matters worse, another investigator, Denilson (Romani), is hot on Liz’s trail.
