Created by and starring husband-wife duo, Ben Falcone (Bridesmaids) and Melissa McCarthy (Spy), God’s Favorite Idiot is an upcoming apocalyptic workplace comedy produced by Netflix. The series consists of 16 episodes, which will be broadcast in two separate halves.

Clark Thompson (Ben Falcone) is an ordinary man who gets struck by lightning, but survives to tell the tale. However, this encounter gives him the ability to glow. Clark’s girlfriend, Amily Luck (Melissa McCarthy), along with his other coworkers, starts to believe that he was blessed by God. This rumor becomes reality when an angel comes to tell Clark that he is the only one who can stop the apocalypse from happening.

Created by Matt Hubbard and Alan Yang, this upcoming series is an Apple TV+ production. The series features an exciting ensemble cast starring Maya Rudolph (Saturday Night Live), Michaela Jaé Rodriguez (Pose), Joel Kim Booster (Big Mouth), Nat Faxon (Our Flag Means Death), and Ron Finches (Trolls).

Stuck in an unhappy marriage for 20 years, billionaire Molly Novak (Maya Rudolph) finally breaks free. Having earned an additional 87 billion dollars in a divorce settlement, Molly is unsure of what to do with all this money, until a charity organization approaches her with an enticing proposal.

4 She-Hulk: Attorney at Law - August 17, 2022

From the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), comes She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, an adaptation of the She-Hulk comics. The show’s production is led by Disney+, with Jessica Gao (Rick and Morty, Silicon Valley) as head writer, and directed by Kat Coiro (It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia). The show stars Emmy award-winning actress Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black) as the title character, along with special appearances by many other familiar Hollywood names like Mark Ruffalo and Benedict Wong.

Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) is a lawyer in her thirties who specializes in dealing with cases involving super humans. When a blood transfusion exposes her body to unknown chemicals, Jennifer undergoes a massive transformation, turning into a six-feet, seven-inches tall, green version of herself, every time she gets angry. To make matters worse, she also has a rival with similar strength, called Titania (Jameela Jamil).

Created by and starring everyone’s favorite comedic actor Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean), Man vs. Bee is an upcoming Netflix slapstick comedy series. Directed by David Kerr (Johnny English Strikes Again), the series also stars familiar names like Jing Lusi (Crazy Rich Asians) and Claudie Blakley (Pride & Prejudice) in supporting roles.

It’s survival of the fittest when an ordinary dad goes head to head against a formidable bumblebee. Trevor (Rowan Atkinson) is a homeless man looking for work. He gets mistaken as a house-sitter by businesswoman Nina (Jing Lusi), who leaves her luxurious mansion to his care when going on a trip. Created by Natalia Klein, this upcoming Brazilian dramedy produced by Netflix is the perfect summer fix! Starring Bruna Marquezine, Manu Gavassi, Carol Castro, Natalia Klein and Sheron Menezzes, this comedy whodunnit is sure to get exciting.

In Maldivas, Liz (Bruna Marquezine) is a young woman who moves to Rio de Janeiro to reconcile with her mother, but learns about her sudden death in a mysterious fire. Igniting her thirst for revenge, Liz moves into a posh condo community to find the culprit behind her mother’s death. This turns out to be a difficult task, as the residents of the community are all eccentric and strange people, and to make matters worse, another investigator, Denilson (Romani), is hot on Liz’s trail.
