Here’s to those who read the fine print. According to TV Shows on DVD, an eagle-eyed reader of theirs noticed that in a recent contest NBC was running for The Office, through a Chicago affiliate, the release date for The Office Season 4 DVD set was revealed in the contest rules.
“There will be one hundred (100) second prizes awarded in this Sweepstakes (collectively, “Second Prizes”), each consisting of the following: one (1) DVD copy of “The Office: The Complete Fourth Season” (“The Office: The Complete Fourth Season” DVD releases September 9, 2008). Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of each Second Prize is sixty dollars ($60).”
Of course, NBC or Universal Studios Home Entertainment have not announced a release date or any details of this DVD set yet. We’ll keep you updated on this unique story as soon as we have more information.
UPDATE (5/27/08)DVD Active is reporting that the official release date of this release will be September 2. The four-disc set will be priced at $49.98, but no cover art has been released, but we now have the special features below.
