Clare Sillery, who commissioned the new series for BBC One and iPlayer, also added the following statement.
The Osbournes Previously Starred in One of Reality TV’s Most Popular Shows
The Osbournes debuted on MTV in 2002 and aired for four seasons, concluding its run in 2005. At the time, it served as one of the most popular of all the reality shows. It featured Ozzy and Sharon and the shenanigans the family would get into along with son Jack and daughter Kelly. While the two also had another daughter, Aimee Osbourne, she chose not to take part in the show.
There has been more to come from the family. More recently, Ozzy and Jack reunited for a separate reality show on History dubbed Ozzy & Jack’s World Detour. Later moving to A&E, the show lasted for three seasons, airing from 2016 to 2018. Jack also currently hosts The Osbournes Want to Believe, a paranormal reality show featuring Jack, Ozzy, and Sharon as they look into strange stories and cases of alleged supernatural activity. That show is a part of the Travel Channel.
