New episodes of The Recruit are on the way. It’s been announced (via Netflix’s Tudum) that the Noah Centineo-led series has officially been renewed for season 2, news that should be excellent to know for the fans wondering what comes next after the first season’s cliffhanger. Centineo isn’t able to say what will happen at this point, but like the fans, he’s clearly just as stoked to know that more episodes are coming that will continue the story.
“I know I speak for our entire cast and executive team at eOne and Netflix when I say that we’re thrilled to be returning to The Recruit for a second season,” Centineo explains. “I’m looking forward to seeing what [showrunner] Alexi Hawley has in store for us all.”

Reviews have been on the positive side, with an audience score for the series at Rotten Tomatoes sitting at 86% fresh. It’s at 67% on the Tomatometer, critics largely impressed with the series and offering praise to the acting as well as the exciting action elements. Hawley has also teased that season 2 will be even more exciting than season 1. The goal is to crank up the volume much higher with both the action and fun that fans will be expecting after getting through the first season.
I’m thrilled to dive back into the fun, funny, action-packed world of The Recruit. Seeing how invested our audience became in the show’s adventurous take on the spy world has been incredibly rewarding, and I can’t wait to turn it all up to 11 in season 2," Hawley says.
