The Twisted Twins, Jen and Sylvia Soska, are about to release a new feature film titled On the Edge, the trailer for which is available now. It will be the filmmaking duo’s third original film and sixth overall. It will also see them taking a break from body horror in favor of making an erotic, psychological thriller. Here’s the official summary:
According to Bloody Disgusting, the other members of the cast include Sylvia Soska as Claire, Ola Dada as the desk clerk, Andrea Jin as the maid, Brianne Finn-Morris as Tori, Alanna Finn-Morris as Chloe, Ivan Decker as the newscaster, Mackenzie Gray as Senator Coleman and Sophie Buddle as Kaitlyn.
“Family man Peter (Aramis Sartorio) gets more than he paid for when he books a 36-hour session with the sadistic Mistress Satana (Jen Soska) who seems more intent on making him suffer for his sins. Is it blackmail? Is it torture? Or is it the Devil come for his soul? Will Peter’s faith save him from his own personal Hell or is he already damned? A brilliant depiction of how Kink Culture can heal past trauma and be a source for shocking redemption.”

More on The Twisted Twins
While the Soska Sisters are in the habit of cameoing in their movies Alfred Hitchcock style, this will be the first time that one of them has starred in one of their films since their debut, Dead Hooker in a Trunk. There the sisters played two twin sisters, credited as Geek and Badass, who discover a dead hooker in a trunk. The title of the film is very self-explanatory.
They wrote and directed that film in addition to their following one, American Mary, which is probably their most well-known movie. There, scream queen Katharine Isabelle plays Dr. Mary Mason, who, without getting too spoiler heavy, becomes embroiled in the world of extreme body modifications. The three of them actually met as extras on the live-action Josie & the Pussycats movie.
Their next two films, See No Evil 2 and Vendetta, which they made at the behest of WWE Studios, were written by other people. Their fifth film, Rabid, they did write the screenplay for in addition to John Serge. It, however, was not an original film, being a remake of the 1977 David Cronenberg movie of the same name.
Besides working in film, the Soska Sisters have also been involved in the world of comics. They wrote Kill-Crazy Nymphos Attack! alongside Daniel Way, which is about as non-violent and politically correct as you’d expect something titled Kill-Crazy Nymphos Attack! to be. For Marvel, they also wrote Black Widow: No Restraints Play.
