You can now stream all of The Walking Dead on Netflix. For more than a decade, AMC has aired new episodes of The Walking Dead on television, but with the rise of streaming services, not every fan was able to watch the series on cable. Some were patient enough to wait for each season to arrive for streaming on Netflix, and there are still many who haven’t been able to catch up the end when the final season played out on AMC last year. Now, Netflix is changing that by kicking off 2023 with every season from the original up to the eleventh and final season now available to watch on the streaming platform.
Seeing The Walking Dead come to its end in 2022 marked the end of an era. Inspired by the original comic book series by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard, The Walking Dead was adapted for television by Frank Darabont. Its first episode premiered in 2010, and it was an instant success for AMC. Ensuing seasons saw The Walking Dead rise as one of the most-watched shows on television, at one point surpassing 17 million live viewers at the peak of its popularity. Millions of those viewers would end up tapering off in subsequent seasons, but perhaps many of them will come back around where they left off to binge through the rest of the series now that it can be streamed on Netflix.

The Walking Dead Lives On Through Spinoff Shows
AMC
The franchise isn’t dead just yet, as the story will continue in various spinoffs. Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira will be back as Rick and Michonne in a limited series following the two upon their reunion. A separate series will focus on Lauren Cohan’s Maggie and Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s Negan. Meanwhile, Norman Reedus will also ride on as Daryl Dixon in a solo series for the fan favorite character. New episodes of Fear the Walking Dead and Tales of the Walking Dead are also in the works.
For now, you can stream all of The Walking Dead on the Netflix app and at Netflix.com.
