The Witcher is Undergoing a Drastic Change

Henry Cavill led The Witcher franchise for the series’ first two seasons before ultimately leaving the role. Now, Liam Hemsworth is set to take over the part of Geralt of Rivia, a drastic change for a series in the middle of its run. Cavill released a statement following his exit, congratulating Hemsworth on the new role.
The reception hasn’t been great following Cavill’s departure, with a fan petition requesting to keep the actor in the role receiving hundreds of thousands of signatures. Unfortunately, it seems as though Cavill is completely done with the Geralt, though fans can look forward to an increased presence from the actor in the future of the DCU.
