First discovered at a football game in the late 1980s, Pamela Anderson began her career in the modeling industry. After moving to Los Angeles, she landed her first television debut on the hit family series Home Improvement. She quickly became a household name after her long-term stint on Baywatch, which was later rebooted as a movie in 2017 that Anderson admittedly did not like. What’s more, Anderson even has a few films under her belt.

Taking a step back from the spotlight in recent years, Anderson’s name has resurfaced with the release of the Hulu miniseries Pam & Tommy. Centered around her chaotic marriage to professional drummer, Tommy Lee, the show tells the story of the infamous stolen sex tape. Although many cast and crew members of the show have reached out to her, Anderson has claimed she would never watch the Hulu miniseries. To celebrate the actress’ achievements in light of the series, here’s a look at Pamela Anderson’s best performances ranked.

7 Married with Children

     Columbia PIctures Television

In a 1990 episode of Married with Children titled “Al…with Kelly,” Anderson makes a quick appearance as Al Bundy’s dream girl, Yvette. Featured in a short scene alongside Becky Mullen, who portrays Yvonne, Yvette plays into Al’s fantasy. However, his bliss is cut short when he wakes up from his dream, and she is nowhere to be seen. Anderson’s ability to play this type of role is unmatched still to this day.

6 Home Improvement

Wind Dancer Productions and Touchstone Television

Appearing in a total of 23 episodes spanning from 1991 to 1997, Anderson portrays “Tool Time girl,” Lisa, on the hit series Home Improvement. Lisa’s main job is to introduce the hosts of the show, Tim Taylor and Al Borland. She even has a catchphrase: “Does everybody know what times it is?” She also assists by bringing tools to the hosts during the show. Playing a girl-next-door type, this is one of the few times that Anderson is not overly sexualized in a show.

5 Scary Movie 3

     Brad Grey Pictures

In the 2003 parody film, Scary Movie 3, Anderson portrays Becka, who is a parody character of Becca Kotler from The Ring. Sharing a room at a boarding house with her best friend, Katie, the two college students are terrorized by their TV set. Becka is easily scared and not too bright. She even thinks Katie is still alive after being decapitated, and she is killed off-screen moments later. The film is a funny horror movie that leans heavily into pop culture stereotypes.

4 Stacked

Steven Levitan Productions and 20th Century Fox Television

In the 2005 sitcom, Stacked, Anderson plays Skylar Dayton, a young woman who is tired of the party girl lifestyle. Seeking a more fulfilling life, she gets a job working at a family-owned bookstore run by two brothers. Gavin is recently divorced and hates pop culture. Meanwhile, Stuart has a Master’s degree in psychology and has fallen in love with Skylar. The show is a workplace comedy with a well-rounded ensemble.

3 Blonde and Blonder

Insight Film Studios, Pneumatic Pictures, and Canadian Global Media

Staring alongside Denise Richards (Dawn), Anderson portrays Dee in the 2008 comedy, Blonde and Blonder. Playing into the “dumb blonde” stereotype, Dee and Dawn meet in flight school where they each think the other is the instructor. Although they end up crashing the plane into a golf course, the duo survives. Dawn then reveals her desire to be a dancer, and Dee agrees to help her get a spot at the Beaver Patch Lounge. Unfortunately, this is where things get even more chaotic. The Italian Mafia puts a hit out on the Lounge’s owner, Lou Rimoli. However, he is assassinated before Dawn can audition. The hitmen mistakenly believe that Dee and Dawn are assassins, and they offer the women $250,000 to “take out” another man named Hang Wong. However, Dee and Dawn misunderstand the assignment, and the comedy plays out beautifully.

2 Barb Wire

     PolyGram Filmed Entertainment

In the 1996 superhero film, Barb Wire, Anderson portrays none other than Barb Wire herself. As the owner of the Hammerhead, a nightclub in Steel Harbor, she has figured out a way to earn extra cash during the Second American Civil War as a mercenary. Although the film received bad reviews and earned Anderson a Golden Raspberry Award for Worst New Star, it gave her a chance to show off her incredible athletic abilities. As a former gymnast, she was easily able to learn martial arts for the film. She did all of her own stunts and is quite impressive on-screen.

1 Baywatch

All American Television, Tower 12 Productions, The Baywatch Production Company, and Pearson Television

Starring alongside David Hasselhoff in the 1990s television series, Baywatch, Anderson portrays CJ Parker - a California lifeguard. Appearing in five of the eleven seasons, CJ quickly became one of the most popular characters on the show, and her red swimsuit became its own icon. Not only does she help keep beachgoers safe, but she also has some fantastic character development. CJ reveals her love for crystal and meditation. She is a volleyball coach and is a Class V Whitewater Rafting Guide. She also cultivates her skills with dream interpretation, and she believes that ghosts, elves, and mermaids (of course) are real. Hardworking and loyal, CJ is willing to help anyone in need. She is also the most well-received character in Anderson’s filmography.
