Daredevil star Charlie Cox leads the upcoming Netflix series, Treason, and we now have our first look courtesy of several images and a poster. Released courtesy of the streaming service, the images find Cox looking somewhat concerned as his life as an MI6 Agent gradually becomes more dangerous than ever, thanks to his connection with a Russian spy. You can check out the poster and images from Treason below.
Treason finds the Marvel actor as MI6 deputy Adam Lawrence. Trained and groomed by MI6, Adam’s career seems all-set. But his life is suddenly thrown into chaos when his past catches up with him in the form of Kara, a Russian spy with whom he shares a complicated history. Adam begins to question everything in his life, with a triangular relationship forming between Kara, Adam, and his wife, Maddy, with each trying to destroy the other’s lives.

Charlie Cox Will Return to the MCU in Daredevil: Born Again
Marvel Studios
When he’s done trying to keep his life together as an MI6 agent, Charlie Cox will return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Matt Murdock, aka Daredevil, in the upcoming Disney+ series, Daredevil: Born Again. Following the cancelation of the standalone Daredevil series (which did, of course, debut on Netflix), Cox was brought back as the beloved character after a mass outcry from fans and has since returned to the role on both the big screen in Spider-Man: No Way Home, and the small screen in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.
Returning to the role of Daredevil is something that Charlie Cox had hoped might happen, but he had come to terms with never suiting up again. “I think I’m still coming to terms with it. It still feels too good to be true,” he said upon his return to the Marvel franchise. “I really had put this to bed emotionally; I didn’t think that this was going to happen. I literally don’t have the words to describe it. I feel incredibly grateful. I’m so excited about starting again and reading scripts and putting the costume back on and getting on set and being in New York. I can’t wait to start back in and tell more of this amazing character’s story.”
Not much has yet been revealed regarding the direction of Daredevil: Born Again, but a recent rumor has claimed that the series will be based on the comic book arc, Mayor Fisk, which finds The Kingpin running for Mayor. Cox will next appear in the Disney+ series Echo, with Daredevil: Born Again due to follow.
Treason, meanwhile, will debut with a six-part first season on Netflix on December 26, 2022.
