The Twilight movies have made a resurgence, capturing the hearts and minds of supernatural romance lovers all over again. The franchise has been through its ups and downs– incredible popularity, with each theatrical release, mockery and criticism years after, and now back into good graces with a grain of salt regarding the story quality.
While the story is full of classic YA novel tropes, and the characters aren’t all that deep, that didn’t stop a myriad of celebrities wanting in on the movies. In fact, the movies ended up with a cast that was absolutely stacked with talented names– especially when everything comes together in Breaking Dawn Part 2. The final film had a stellar cast with members whose fame has only grown since the conclusion of this supernatural story. Here are just a handful of the famous actors you probably forgot were in Breaking Dawn Part 2.

Jamie Campbell Bower
Netflix
One famous actor is the charming and talented Jamie Campbell Bower. He’s appeared in a wide range of films over the years, such as the Sweeney Todd film and the City of Bones movie; though he recently rose in fame from his performance in season four of Stranger Things and wants to do even bigger projects in the future. In the Twilight Saga, he can be recognized as Caius of the Volturi. His character radiates a sinister energy despite his young face and Bower did a wonderful job of bringing this character to life.
Michael Sheen
Sony Pictures Releasing
Myanna Buring
For those that re-watch the Twilight Saga and wonder why the character Tanya looks so familiar, you might recognize her as one of the awesome women from The Witcher, Tissaia. While many of her other roles aren’t as widely known, Myanna Buring brings power and a strong presence to her performances. As Tanya, she is a loving sister as well as a loyal friend and family member to the others she knows. She follows her instincts and isn’t afraid to fight when she’s protecting the people she cares about. Her performance is captivating for audience members, and she provides a strong complement to the characters of the Cullen family.
Rami Malek
20th Century Fox
Then there’s sweetheart and heartthrob Rami Malek, who many will remember as Ahkmenrah from the Night at the Museum trilogy. But his resume also includes famous roles as a Bond villain and as the renowned singer and leader of “Queen”, Freddie Mercury. Malek plays Benjamin, a vampire with the special gift of controlling the natural elements. He appears only in Breaking Dawn Part 2 as a witness for the Cullens. He has a kind heart and a strong sense of morality, promising to aid the Cullens despite the personal danger from the Volturi, who always want gifted vampires. He doesn’t have a lot of speaking lines, but he still provides an interesting character to watch and love when he is on-screen with his comrades. Malek wasn’t yet widely famous at the time of release for this film, so going back and seeing him join the story is always a wonderful surprise.
Lee Pace
The lovely and handsome Lee Pace also offers his skills in the final Twilight movie. Though he has a wide range of projects on his resume, he is also a lover of fun and fantastical stories, and will be recognized by many from Pushing Daisies or The Hobbit trilogy. He plays the role of Garrett, an old friend of Carlisle Cullen, who joins their cause as a witness. His character is a lovable smart-ass with a strong dislike for the British. Garrett also doesn’t have a ton of lines in the movie, but always attracts attention when he’s on-screen. Whether he’s laughing, flirting with Kate, or fighting with agile strength and speed, he is an entertaining character for audiences (plus, he’s just gorgeous to look at). While a lot of people don’t remember this role on Pace’s resume, it definitely deserves a little more love and praise.
Valorie Curry
Sony Interactive Entertainment
Finally, there’s the often overlooked Valorie Curry. She is most recognized as the mo-cap actor and voice of Kara in the video game Detroit Become Human, which has seen wide success since its release. Curry plays the role of Charlotte in Breaking Dawn Part 2, one of the nomadic vampires that comes to the aid of the Cullens. Unfortunately, Charlotte doesn’t get much time to shine and is only ever a presence on screen. She is one of several smaller characters that gets overlooked by both the film and audience members. For those that know her, they do a double take when she first appears on-screen, only to see her again and realize, yes!, it is indeed Valorie Curry. Even though her character doesn’t get too much to do in the movie, Curry does a great job of bringing her character to life and adding more realism and foundation to the vampiric world of Twilight.
