Days after the premiere of Teen Wolf: The Movie and Wolf Pack, the franchise’s first spinoff starring Sarah Michelle Gellar, Tyler Posey wants more stories within the universe of the popular teen series to explore new angles.

Released in 2011 on MTV, Teen Wolf became a teen phenomenon, managing to last for six seasons and a total of 100 episodes that explored the story of Posey’s Scott McCall, who is bitten and turned into a werewolf, having to deal with the responsibility of his abilities in one of the most complicated periods of life.

The actor was so attached to the character and its development, especially after the film that featured a more adult version, that he’d like to explore those new aspects in another project (via TVLine):

“Obviously, I would love to do more Teen Wolf. We still didn’t get to see these characters as adults. This movie is maybe two days in the world of Teen Wolf, and they’re thrust into this chaos the whole time. You never get to see them just be adults with each other.”

What to Expect from Teen Wolf: The Movie and Wolf Pack

     Paramount+

Both the new Teen Wolf movie and the first spinoff show, Wolf Pack, have been a pleasant surprise for Paramount+, with the film becoming the most watched on the first day after its debut in the platform’s history. Here you can read the synopsis for Teen Wolf: The Movie:

“A full moon rises in Beacon Hills, and with it a terrifying evil has emerged. The wolves are howling once again, calling for the return of Banshees, Werecoyotes, Hellhounds, Kitsunes, and every other shapeshifter in the night. But only a werewolf like Scott McCall, no longer a teenager yet still an Alpha, can gather both new allies and reunite trusted friends to fight back against what could be the most powerful and deadliest enemy they’ve ever faced.”

Wolf Pack, on the other hand, is based on the book series by Edo Van Belkom and follows a teenage boy and girl whose lives are changed forever when a California wildfire awakens a terrifying supernatural creature and drives it to attack a highway traffic jam beneath the burning hills. Wounded in the chaos, the boy and girl are inexplicably drawn to each other and to two other teenagers who were adopted sixteen years earlier by a park ranger after another mysterious wildfire. As the full moon rises, all four teens come together to unravel the secret that connects them - the bite and blood of a werewolf.
