An all-new poster for Uncharted has been released for its IMAX release. The video game adaptation, which is set to hit theaters in February, brings to life the globe-trotting adventurers of the explorer Nathan Drake to the big screen. Tom Holland of Spider-Man fame plays Nathan in the film with Mark Wahlberg co-starring as his mentor Sully.

The new IMAX poster showcases Holland’s Drake clinging for dear life after falling out of an airplane without a parachute. Down below, we can see some of the film’s different locations on display as well. Presuming Drake will be paying a visit to them all, the list includes Manhattan, Barcelona, Paris, Rome, Agra, Giza, and Singapore. You can see the full-size poster below.

“With Uncharted, I was shooting stunts that are far bigger than anything I’ve done before,” Holland said in a featurette of the airplane scene. “At times, I’d be like 100 feet in the air, attached to a box that is spinning, and then I would basically hang on until it would throw me off. And it was really scary, but I think that level of fear just makes that scene that much more authentic… It’s the hardest action sequence I’ve ever made.”

Ruben Fleischer directs Uncharted using a screenplay by Rafe Lee Judkins, Art Marcum, and Matt Holloway; Judkins crafted the story with Jon Hanley Rosenberg and Mark D. Walker. The film stars Tom Holland, Mark Wahlberg, Sophia Ali, Tati Gabrielle, and Antonio Banderas. It is based on the video game series of the same name. You can read the official synopsis below.

Uncharted Has Been Many Years in the Making

     Sony Pictures Releasing

Uncharted has been very popular with gamers for many years, and Hollywood has tried to get the ball rolling on a movie adaptation for many years. What it ultimately took was for Tom Holland to pitch an idea to Sony about a young James Bond movie. This story didn’t click with Sony, but it did get them thinking about casting Holland as a young Nathan Drake. With his Uncharted casting in place, the project was finally able to become a reality. Oddly enough, Mark Wahlberg was at one point in talks to play Nathan Drake in an earlier iteration of the project that was never made.

Uncharted is set to be released in UK theaters on Feb. 11 followed by a theatrical release in the United States on Feb. 18.
