The critically acclaimed political satire Veep debuted on HBO in April 2012 and ran for seven seasons until its finale in May 2019. It follows Selina Meyer, played by accomplished comedian Julia Louis-Dreyfus, a fictional Vice President of the United States on her journey to distinguish herself in her political career. En route to leaving her legacy, she is often roped into various political high jinx, which leads to some truly great comedy.

The popular HBO comedy has won a slew of major awards celebrating both its writing and acting. These include the Writers Guild of America Award for TV Comedy Series, The Television Critics Association Award for Outstanding Achievement in Comedy, and an Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series, which it won for its fourth, fifth, and sixth seasons consecutively.
