Like many of Javier Castillo’s books, The Snow Girl falls within the suspense genre. The author uses two timelines interspersed with each other to unveil a mystery. It is an unpredictable writing style, and many viewers can feel overwhelmed at the beginning of the journey. You cannot tell at any moment whether you are in the present or the past. Even so, these are only initial impressions when you are still unfamiliar with the characters. Later, the plot twists reveal not only the reasons behind the protagonists’ behavior but also reveal the motives of the author.
